I say 2022-2023 series 2 my first box I pulled a slav young guns canvas, wifi young guns, petro high gloss 1 of 10, John Tavares Clear cut,Sam Poulin YG. Very underrated box.

I bought three boxes of this stuff last year, ended up with a bunch of Boldy and Rossi, young gun cards, regular and canvas versions of both plus a Baldy French. Didn’t buy any boxes of series 2 got a few packs and hits left Kowski regular Youngkin. my go to strategy for this stuff has always been to go get three or four boxes out of the same case and see how my luck is, not hoping for a hell of a lot, just at the very least to pull some of the big guys. Using that same strategy next year, I am going to get a few boxes of series1 and then with series 2 probably going to get an entire case, will be my first case ever and I think that’s a smart move

I just use scissors to open packs. I cut the top and the cards slide right out...

I honestly might start doing that. It’s interesting how there is a stigma against using scissors, but if you’re careful you won’t damage the cards aha

I think, flagship upper deck gives you the best variety of parallels for the rookie cards that you have a decent chance at, you have to go into it with the understanding that getting anything, including, and better than an exclusive is nearly impossible, especially of the particular rookie card that you’re hoping for. But the chance is still there. personally, I like the canvas Young Guns a lot better than the regular ones especially given how crappy the quality control in the past few years has been for the product. Plus, the pictures are always way cooler. It will be interesting to see the reformatted product next year with all those different numbered variations, especially with the one of one set, just think Connor Bedard, one of one younger, that’s going to be like hitting the lottery for somebody
