It’s tuff when i lose to my son but at the same time I’m happy he’s getting better. Love watching father son matches 👍

I like the transparency and not being afraid of posting 2, sub average games. That's very cool. Ryan did make me laugh a few times. The thumbs up after the 7-10 was good,

One of the greatest that propelled bowling . Chris Barnes ! Thank you 🙏

We still don’t know if two hands is better than one since papa Barnes bowled with his left and right hand in the first frame.

Chris, how did you decide how you would lay out your ball, i.e., pin down 5 x 2 ???

Why the pin down drilling?

Those are the games that piss me off the most. Being too slow on the moves. Heartbreaking 😅.....makes me feel better though to see one of the greatest ever still have that happen 🤣🤣🤣🤘

The acid test will be in later years as the two-handed technique demands more physicality.

3 opens thats 33pins off max score Every open at the League level is min 11pins At the PBA level it's 20!! You open they strike!!❤😂

I personally don't refer to it as a one/two handed anymore. I look at it as the thumb/no thumb style. Even though I use my thumb, I've always thought that no thumb was more rational. Not having to worry whether the thumb will drag out or get out of it too quickly? Seems like a plus+
@BeefandBarnzy Жыл бұрын
ok, but there is still a big diff in power between 2 harder and 1 hand no thumb

Give it up daddy-o..lol One time long ago my son says he'd beat me left handed and he right handed as I am. I said ok for 10 bucks, he said we're on..well I bowled a 256, he bowled a 257..🙄 I paid up..lol

This must have been on the fresh. Because every video I have seen of that ball, it doesn't look super great on fresh with lower rev bowlers.
@chrisr3992 Жыл бұрын
There is a reason everyone going 2 handed. 1) can be less accurate you get way more miss room with the extra revs and power ball comes back from more areas. 2) the extra revs gives you more power giving you more pin action to carry and also not leave as many splits. 3) 1 handed bowling takes 10 times more skill too be good then it does 2 handed. Look at this video proves it your son was all over the place looked like he didn't really have a mark. Just throw it to the right and it will come back
@Grass_Hoppers Жыл бұрын
I dont agree about two- handed being easier, have you ever tried a 5 step approach two handed?
@chrisr3992 Жыл бұрын
@Grass_Hoppers lol ok so if you dont have to have a mark you just have to henge decent speed with the ball and throw it somewhere to the right or left side how is that not easier. Why is basically most people going to 2 handed bowling. Because it's easier avg goes up 15-50 pins easy depending on how you where 1 handed. And let me give you a secret start at foul line and break down the approach from 0 steps to 4-5 steps 1 step at a time. Do around an hour each step and you should have good idea what your doing very quick.

Before league, I always do a zero step approach, so I have the ball rolling off the ends of my fingertips. Believe me, I eat sleep and Breed Bowling and i will tell you it is not easier to go to hand, and then it is one handed. All the pros tell me that they would never switch because they are too off-balance when they get to the fall line from the approach.

I thought this video was to demonstrate the performance of the bowling ball, not a competition between father and son or did I miss that?
@BeefandBarnzy Жыл бұрын
that's why I titled it the way I did. Think it started off being a ball comparison and got competitive!
