@@Piquliar I agree, the first boss is rather easy, but i tried the Knight, and goddamn, i had Mlynar, Texalter, Pozy, Kal'tsit and Elysium, all E2, and barelly managed to get to half HP bar( i did not manage to find the weakening relic, and this was the only run i managed to get to end with him alive)

a guide for the awful pompeii map on ending 3, fire and water union or however its called. I've only managed to survive to that stage twice so far on n6 and the pompeiis just rip me to pieces. I legitimately have no idea how to approach the map besides try to blow it up with nearlter s2 and then pray for my life but its so hard to get there I'm struggling to actually learn the map

Sora s1 is pretty underrated in IS3 i think. Her skill isnt too expensive to use, it superheals everything in range, and she takes down hovering enemies.

I definitely second this. Sora is my most used supporter in IS3, I often pick her over Scene and Ling because of how versatile she is and how useful she is on the 1st boss.

i completed ending 2 like 20+ times and none of them consisted of me actually defeating the last knight and just letting him leak cuz i had 31+ hp lmao despite having good relics and aspd stuff i could only get him into 2nd phase but leaked anyways the most relics i got was like 34 relics but somehow no aspd artifacts and i had over 50+ ingots

I don't know if they work in N15 but Mayer has been goated for me. She can carry early and her Meebo explosion can hit the hovering units stunning and grounding them. Also if you are lucky to get her Tulip has helped a lot and her skill can also hit air. In my first clear Dorothy was my DPS carry.

Mayer is def really good for lower difficulties, I spammed her since she can cheese a lot of early levels. Later on in difficulties, her bots lose 1v1s to small enemies ;l Tulip is great since she tends to be a free so she justifies her 0 hope cost quite well as a vanguard mini chen and you can spend your hope elsewhere

I’m surprised gladiia isn’t on here, if you’re going for tex/yato you’re probably choosing the specialist/caster start. she’s both a decent lane holder, staller, tank, self sustain, and can cheese certain maps with her pull and tornado.

While relic/buff dependent, I'd say hoshiguma is a solid B-A in the defender category due to the added buffs to dodge mechanics in IS3 that could turn her from being your basic mediocre stat stick to "can't be killed by physical even if 100 snipers are shooting her." There is a separate check for her own talent and the passive relic dodges from what I've encountered as the game doesn't seem to regard them as the same pool. Additionally, her thorns is very useful against the abyssal hermit crabs when you get swarmed by them on some stages such as The Nest in floors 2-3 where they exist as spawns rather than catapults where accidentally "deathballing" yourself is easy with the 10 that come from the right without proper range placement.

No Loughshinny under healers is wild, she's cleared whole maps basically alone for me. Both her s2 and s3 can be devastating and the debuff helps vs strong enemies.

Thoughts on Dorothy? S2 bind is very useful on some of the more notorious maps and keeps some pressure off your frds. Hope cost in the most competitive ticket might be an issue though. The puppet series of relics also makes her very reliable at assassinating a lot of annoying enemies from across the map.

N15 is very strict with tickets/hope, she is actually good but you will always rather have yato / Texas .

Jaye is very decent but the meta of FRD eating through your dp like nothing makes jaye practically unusable as he kills your dp generation is how i feel like

a few are missing i think? i will try pooling them here with short desc Flametail combos well with lots of dodge relics around, they arent hard to drop from random encounter or chests after combat stages, stun is also welcome anywhere on IS3. But isnt a good starter as the team will lack the really needed DPS when starting. Schwarz is a very good starter if you looked at some videos of IS3 of only Schwarz as 6stars run or no relic run N15. Mod3 is a buff for all snipers too Sora is cheaper and more versatile at higher SW than skalter, extra bits stats and the time needed for skalter to charge her skills arent short enough before ops are dying at N13-15 difficulty most of the time Mayer is also cheaper and better than Texaco at N14-15 early on as Texaco's S3 dmg falls off hard by then unless u have relics buffing her, but requires kinda fast fingers to prevent meebo dying on deploy tho is gnosis really that relic dependent? afaik with E2 S2M3 u can do permafreeze mechanic with proper skill timing with his AA against tanky enemy/bosses especially in "wander in wonderland" not just Final Knight i wanna put Click May Robots and stuff but i stopped as i am still at N13. The ones i dare put are from my friends who are N15 cool freak who keep sharing their clears and details every few days last month

Lee vs. The Last Knight is phenomenal. However the DP drain is sooooo much and I only had beanstalk as Vanguard. I had to sell everyone to keep Lee and ended up dying after killing The Last Knight.

You forgot the Gladiia/Spectralter in specialist list, that is very efficient in this mod since they do a ton of damage and auto heal from Gladiia module. To be honest, if you have Gladiia, all the Abyssal hunters are cool for this mode.

tbh i have 1 op really strong to add to your list Blacknight is inane imo, if you combo with texas alter you can almost chain combo sleep/stun the classic boss of the event, it's really really strong + she can add damage to aerial mobs + good starter bcs she is aoe melee unit also she not need to be E2 to be usefull in flor >3

I mean Mr. nothing and Ethan are lower-rarity which makes them way easier to obtain due to the reduced hope, so you should build them regardless

First is hope problem, their cost is miles away - you also need Lee to be at E2, and demands constant DP fed to him. Mizuki if you use him for bind, which is S2, at most can only bind 3, while Ethan can bind as many as he can.

yep, n3->n4 seems to be a big jump if you don't have ops which you can use to deal with the tight hope situation in the first 2-3 floors. later floors have too much hope available, early ones not enough

Here's a few more i'd recommend: Irene - Strange that she wasn't even mentioned here. At E2, she gets a huge buff when seaborn enemies exist and with any other buffs can mostly solo the first main boss. If you get the "2sp on attack for guards" artifact, she becomes absolutely busted and spams her burst skill over and over again. Honeyberry/Mulberry - This should be obvious. Although the elemental damage isn't AS bad as it was in IS2 (in my opinion), having them is still very nice against a lot of bosses, particularly with their unique range. Click - Pretty great low-rarity caster. Has stun on her second skill that can be used to deal with the floating enemies very well. Nice cheap pick if low on hope and you don't want to pick up a recruit (or Steward at lower difficulties where 3 stars still cost 0 hope) Thorns - As usual, Thorns is still a GOAT here, though admittedly he is someone that NEEDS E2 and is kind of worthless before then, or at least not worth the hope. If you can get him E2 quickly or start with him at E2 then its golden. Kazemaru - Pretty underrated Dollkeeper Specialist who can do well to guard lanes and deal with the first few floors without the need of a healer, and becomes nice again later in the floors if you get the artifact that buffs her speed by +120 when no one is nearby. The Abyssal Squad also probably doesn't need to be mentioned, but they are still unsurprisingly very solid here. Spalter specifically is a great starting choice as well and will be useful all the way up through the end of your run. My main disagreement here though is probably that Elysium is the "best vanguard choice". I know DragonGJY said "arguably" so i'd argue that Cantabile is actually the best. The fast-redeploy capabilities to deal with specific annoyances, the extra tile of range so you can deal with multiple static early enemies (such as the Big Bob or Pompeii maps) or enemies across walls, and the ranged capability to actually help against the floating UFO's when needed are all points in her favor. Furthermore, she very comfortably fits into many team comps and doesn't become *very* good when a certain class is included (snipers for Elysium).

Man, thorn can’t help you much in D15, where you need burst, CC and helidrop to deal with the mobs and boss rather than a lane holder. If you play on lower difficult then yes thorn can carry you once he got E2 but in D15? He can’t even deal with a small wave of mobs since they got ridiculous stat buff on HP and Def

Thorne is fking suck fof is3 on sw7 let alone on sw15, also not rly that good either as enemies is getting tankier af and she either need a battery or a collectible that increase attack recovery sp. Also honeyberry and mulberry is an absolute no need as i clear sw15 4-5 times no and all of that clear i dont even use mulberry or honeyberry(mostly because im only lvl 82 and they arent build yet kekw). But yea, with your elemental healer and thornes include in ur statement i doubt u have even past sw7

I just had a amazing run on N10, where I got to floor 5 without medics, just spot and using Gavialter S1 for self-heal. I was about to reach first boss, but I went for the treasure chest map, thinking I should beat it fairly easy, but forgot I got the relic where random enemy takes dmg when you deploy a operator. As soon as I dropped OG Texas for passive DP regenration, she woke up everyone and the run was over. It wasn't guarantee I'd win (and there was chance I'd get medic before boss), but still such a shame, but it was incredibly fun run xD

Without medics only ending 1 is somewhat possible if you've got enough fast redeploys and long range attackers + fitting relics. Which is why Pozy, Texalter and Horn are my core 6* in basically every serious run

Yes, up until n7. Surging waves +7 or n7 is the lowest difficulty with the highest multiplier for exp. You can also check this with the 'additional details' on the left side when choosing difficulty after unlocking them

Surprised you didn't put in Jaye as a function for most of the game mode. He comes in with a heal and a silence, while being a semi fast redeploy. I built him after realizing how good he was after IS1. The only downside with him is that he isn't really used for the bosses and is more like a flex pick.

Chalter against the Knight is pretty good since her S3 is bullet-type, meaning that she can still dish out immense damage after being frozen. Thorns is pretty good if you don’t have snipers, but the build up is not so great so it’s handy to have an elemental medic. Penance is good at the drone stage to bait damage. But again, the build up sucks.

I would argue that Schwarz and Pozy are #1 and #2 Snipers in some order. Who exactly is #1 is up to personal opinion. A Schwarz + Texalter core can carry you all the way up to the boss on Relicless D15 with very cheap teammates and very minimal life loss, and leaving you a lot of freedom in terms of drafting for endgame. EDIT: I made this comment months ago before having much experience in D15 myself. I have now played a lot more D15 and have updated my opinion: You don't even need the Texalter, just Schwarz is enough.
