I was doing the heist setup where you have to collect Avi Schwartzman from his island... and some rando psychopath actually drove the boat all the way to the far side of the Alamo Sea... it somehow worked out.

Were you using handbrake to turn sharper in this route? I know it doesnt make sense but boats actually have functioning handbrakes in GTA and it makes them turn much sharper. Edit: I vote to do the test again but use handbrake this time and see if you can make the boat even more optimal

That’s another I love about the GTA VI map. Boats will be more functional (you can actually drive them and get someplace faster, instead of on the outside of the map) meaning you can get from point A to point B by boat, or car.

Hold rb when you turn woth longfin it uses the rudders to turn sharper, also if you hold down on left toggle on straight s it will increase your acceleration and top speed.

Maybe a terminus could beat the time? Back when I played it, I dominated off-road races with it, highly recommend And you can do sharper turns with the boat by holding handbrake button

The very small scientific section of my brain is kicking in and remembering the rules to doing a fair test. This could've been done by simply putting the boat in the environment where it can reach it's fully performance vs the car in the environment where it can reach it's full performance. Also, you chose the fastest boat but not the fastest car. A simple way to "try" and make this fair would be to have them both race around the outskirts of the map or in a drag race. If it's around the map, overall distance should be factored in, based on the distance difference, starting positions should be adjusted to make it more fair. Almost like a 200m race.

@@11bornrich dont have to do a video on that can already tell you the car wins by a lot, just because top speed is so much higher, even with like high traffic the car can still easily stay above tat 190ish top speed of the boat

I wanted to use it at some point but I didnt have the fully upgraded one, might make another video trying to push the limits of what the cars can achieve, probably using the sultan rs classic upgraded, issi sports and some bikes

Fact, like a car, boats can turn sharper if you hold the E-Brake Also, if you wheely like a bike it puts the fins in the water more often making that boat go faster

I knew about the wheely bit, but didnt really know about the e brake one. Is it maybe just the mid air control physics and it kinda works because the boat is skipping on the water a lot?

@@EenGamer. No, it's turning sharper, fully in the water. In the Cayo Perico Heist, the fastest regular approach solo is the Longfin, but you need to handbrake turn.

one thing worth noting as well is boats are easier to control [in my opinion at least] so its easier to maintain speed in boats and not go spinning the fuck out cuz the game decided you pushed a movement key toofar one way

No hahaha, especially with this route I had to do a couple runs because the boat turned so slow and I would hit rocks that would send me into the wrong direction hahaha. But I get your point a stifd super/sports car will spin a lot on the bumps but a offroad car is very consitent
