Thanks for this. Very helpful. I am really struggling to find a CELTA near me that is face to face. Most of the CELTA courses now seem to be 100% online. Are they as good? I’m planning to do it with a place called DC training. Have you ever heard of them?

I'm a CELTA certified trainer. It's didn't deliver the results I had been hoping for. Not many even recognize this in the training industry. And, even when they do, they don't pay well. 😐

Thanks for sharing your experience. What do you mean by training industry? A Cambridge CELTA is absolutely recognised in even some of the most expensive and exclusive schools in the world, let alone the average language academy. Even so, a CELTA alone doesn’t negate the interview process, we still need to convince employers we are the correct choice (as most likely other candidates will also have CELTA’s and Cert TESOLs). We are talking about ESL, TEFL & ESOL jobs, right?
