Is A Cpl Filter A Must-have For Your Dash Camera?

I have a CPL filter on my A129Pro and it makes a difference in both day and night

I use a filter on my Viofo A119 mini 2 and it does make a difference.

@@SafeDriveSolutions Same I also bought a cpl for my mini 2 but had to remove it after noticing a rainbow haze while recording video. I'll clean it and see if it goes away tomorrow. I think it will protect the Starvis 2 lenses in the long run from UV damage.

From the video shown here, the polarizing filter does help in daytime, but I’m not convinced that it helps at night. I’d want to see more night videos with and without, in order to make a decision.

Yeah I was not completely sold on night time performance. I will see if we have some other videos to use.
