Rotational weight is typically considered to be equivalent to taking 3x the rotational weight off the car in dead weight. For instance, if you reduced your wheel weight by 50lbs, that would be equivalent to removing 150lbs of unsprung weight from the car. This is just a rule of thumb. The other corresponding rule of thumb is 100lbs of unsprung weight is worth 0.1 in the 1/4 on most cars. You can get an idea of what the weight reduction would look like as far as 1/4mi gains using the two.

I bought my homeless mother a house and just past year its drained $14,000. Really I have no extra spending money at this point and somedays I regret buying the house for her but I endure.
