If there is one word that has caught everyone’s attention in 2022, it is inflation.
It has been a major concern for millions of people around the world and will remain so in 2023.
All around the world, everyday goods and services are becoming more expensive. Rising costs are making life more difficult for many people, who are struggling to buy groceries, pay their bills and fill up their tanks at fuel stations.
Global inflation is forecast to decline from 2022’s staggering 8.8 percent to 6.5 percent in 2023, while the world’s output will slow to 2.7 percent in the new year.
Counting the Cost looks at what global economies can expect in 2023.

Recessions are part of the economic cycle, all you can do is make sure you're prepared and plan accordingly. I graduated into a recession (2009). My 1st job after college was aerial acrobat on cruise ships. Today I'm a VP at a global company, own 3 rental properties, invest in stocks and biz, built my own business, and have my net worth increase by $500k in the last 4 years.

It's always a pleasure to hear your considerate and reasoned critique. Whether the market is bullish or bearish, I don't care. Trading worked well for me because I was able to raise over 6 figures when I started with 4 figures in only a few months by putting Rodger Michael Karl's advice into practice. Instead of trying to time the market by getting in and out every couple of weeks, trade a little portion of your portfolio.

Recession is most likely the result of an external factor. For the first time in decades, the United States is losing its clout as a federal reserve currency. They don't have any more economies to use to control inflation, and less money is being spent on stock and oil trading than in the past. They all lend support to the idea that a new multilateral world order is in the works.

Given the high inflation, the use of coupons is more widespread than ever and many people rely on them not only for the purchase of food but also for clothing and much more. The transition to the 8112 digital coupon format is imminent. Qples by Fobi is the only platform able to provide physical / digital coupons anywhere in the world redeemable in real time! This is very valuable for the big CPG brands as they allow them to improve their Roi but above all customer loyalty, which has proven to change brands if the situation is advantageous. McDonalds, burger King and many other brands could use Qples by fobi coupons to increase customer loyalty, Roi and improve their margins. Given the high inflation that has led to the reduction in consumer purchasing power, CPGs are looking for new ways to attract customers. I think the arrival of digital coupons and the transition to 8112 has been accelerated by all of this. The decline in margins and profits that we are witnessing of many tech companies, once considered leaders, confirm the shift of the consumer in search of better opportunities and bargains offered by coupons.

Australia is ‘different’ - many Aussies think that the RBA’s job is to worry about greedy property investors or homeowners caught up in the houses & holes economy. The AUD was at 70 US cents at the end of January 2023 on the hope that China’s economy might pick up - energy costs are high, taxes are killing, food inflation is ridiculous, and mortgage repayments are a nightmare as Aussies get mired deeper an deeper in debt - however, the RBA will keep hiking interest rates because if it doesn’t then the Au$ will fall like a stone worsening core inflation… and remember - the AUD is a litmus test for the global economy i.e., if the global economy is good the AUD is strong, and otherwise the AUD will fall, as it is now. A falling AUD increases core inflation (grocery costs etc). While the RBA may not hike rates at the US Fed’s pace, it doesn’t really have a choice. Negative equity and a stagnant economy await Aussies in the next few years as fewer international students choose Australia, Europe declines, China’s working population declines and global coal, iron and tourism demand falls.

There will be no recession in the armament industries, as governments stimulate their business by encouraging military conflicts. What is strange is that other economic sectors do not sue States and arms manufacturers to obtain compensation for the losses they are suffering due to stupid political and diplomatic choices that benefit a small economic sector that profits by causing destruction and deaths.

The American guest speaker can boast of the $hundreds of billions the US is investing in semiconductors, the problem is that this investment is driven by political/geopolitical and not commercial considerations. The result is a future supply is being created that mismatches with commercial demand. The $hundreds of billions are not going into R&D but into building manufacturing lines in the most expensive jurisdiction for advanced node chips production. These chips will not only be expensive but have the one commercial outlet; the now mature market in mobile phones. The economic recessionary conditions being experienced globally is not supportive for demand in discretionary luxuries like high-end mobile phones incorporating the latest advanced node semiconductors. So how would this $hundred of billions recoup its investment outlay? Also China - the largest market for semiconductors - is likely to be in a position, by the time these fabs come online, to restrict access to its markets for these US products. China's current strategy is to go through the legal route of a WTO complaint against US sanctions on its commercial companies. A victory at the WTO, which is likely, would give China permission to retaliate against this future US output by placing appropriate tariffs.
@googiegress7459

I don't understand why you think the only commercial applications for semiconductors are mobile phones. We're also talking personal and business computing, server farms, automobiles, household appliances, utility control systems, voting machines, gambling machines, automated assembly lines, security systems, vending machines, military weapons and tech, etc. Silicone is everywhere. And most of these don't need to be off the most recent node. American companies may want to buy American-manufactured chips so they are free of Chinese backdoors. Whether there are backdoors installed by the American government or not. Part of the investment is in defense and secrecy. But also if we can harm China, we should consider the value of dollars spent to do that. Honestly we should never have built up China as a manufacturing power without ensuring that we controlled it. No control, no investment. We created our own most dangerous enemy. And then we handed over and allowed them to steal what should have been state secrets, which put us in this specific situation.

This is my take on the global crisis which we are facing: The US could go into recession based on how the Fed and Congress decide to play around with inflation and interest rates which would be at no risk to the Fed, only to the detriment of American and global households, businesses and employment in addition to emerging and poor nations that are struggling to repay their sovereign debt in dollars or euros going bankrupt leading to economic, political and social chaos. A monetary system could be established forcing the world to buy oil, minerals and other commodities in a gold backed currency such as a gold backed Russian ruble or a gold backed Chinese yuan as central banks of China, Russia (as well as advanced economies like US led West) are storing up gold and are trading oil globally in their currencies. Due to rising inflation on account of supply chain issues in China and Russia lowering oil production due to G7 price cap, the Fed will continue to raise interest rates which will result in global economic crash and recession and a bailout or rescue package could be contingent on populations, businesses and governments accepting CBDC globally. Therefore the new monetary system could be based on a gold backed digital currency which a global central bank and global central authority would have a monopoly over. Nations that are likely to be suppressed or crushed in the process are Islamic nations as was the case when Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi attempted to revive unity and economic independence amongst Islamic nations by establishing a monetary system with an African gold backed currency known as the “gold dinar”, which would have forced the US, Asia and Europe to buy oil and minerals in the African gold-backed currency, as a result of which he was assassinated by the western powers due to the threat which he posed.

Power and the Masses Worldwide: Are there still governments? Are there any social institutions in any country, serving the interest of the masses? Are we not in an era of mass society where a global network of oligarchs tussle among themselves for control of all the resources for human sustenance, while the majority of humans on Earth live in poverty and insecurity? The masses are so degraded to realize that they are the real source of wealth and power, and the Earth affords us all a lot more than this global system designed to aggregate capital and resource, and to move cheap labour from every corner of the world, to serve the endless greed of the global oligarchs. Look beyond your computer, you will see that life for the hunter-gatherers 5000 years ago was more meaningful than that of the modern man.

The fact is , BTC is the future and the question most people ask themselves is - if this is right time to invest ? I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in this space in general or probably just naive , the sphere have seen far worse times than this , enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions , I'd say that more emphasis should be put into trading , since it is way profitable than holding . Trading went smooth for me as I was able to raise over 9 BTC when I started at 2.5 BTC in just 5 weeks of implementing trades with signals and insights from Karen Marie Emma, I would advise you all to trade your asset rather than hold for a future you aren't sure about .
