Great comparison. I know it’s not osha approved, but I made a nice basket out of a tote cage. I secure it to the tractor with chain and a cinch strap. Makes a nice, cheap man lift. Just need a competent operator driving the tractor. About to purchase a backhoe for my LS and will go ahead and have a 3rd function added for my eventual grapple.

*whew* I was worried we might not be in agreement, based on your intro! but you left out a simple fact that the grapple needs a forward hydraulic control/3rd function (not present in most tractors from compact and smaller. i saw a vid once about adding one to my LS, somewhere...). also if you HAVE forks, you tend to save pallets for "stuff". also you left out that a ball hitch receiver that attaches to a fork tine is CHEAP, and you can precisely move trailers into spots very easily (take for example my wife's horse trailer...) grat vid, as always, keep 'em coming!

True on multiple points, for sure! I think we'll need to do a deep-dive on grapples really soon, with the different ways to plumb them and whatnot. I'll be welding on a d ring, some hooks and maybe a hitch receiver to the fork frame, so we'll see how that goes....

Great video. I have both and agree with many of your examples. Both are great attachments and in my opinion, must haves for a front loader. Did a similar compilation video on pallet forks and have done several with grapple. Check them out if you get a chance. Really enjoyed the video and I subscribed. And I agree, forks stay on my tractor most of the time and are my most used attachment.

I'll watch them tonight! Looks like your Kioti is serving you well. I think we might go back to a Kioti if we decide to swap out this machine. I sell both, and the kioti Ck series is fantastic!
