Is A hotdog muffler worth it?

hot dogs don't normally sound good but they give you some nice pops and crackles if you have it before a muffler

@@thataussieguy2478 yeah I didn’t really like it hence why I ended up taking it back out, I had it at the rear and it gave it heaps of pops and crackles was just too quiet, I’ve since changed the exhaust sounds way better now 😂

@@Jessiemuggleton yes fair enough I have a hotdog on my vx stock headers and cat with a 2.5” cat back and other then it sounding like a trumpet it actually gives some nice burbles and pops like if I drop it back into first from 60kph going down hill it bangs really loud possibly shooting flames if I had a bashed out cat it definitely would

Got some good news regarding my blue AU sedan I get to keep my AU sedan my insurance company has paid me $2,700 from the accident that I have had last December gone and I am fixing my car up on the cheap. Im running pacemaker 4499's & a highflow 100cell cat with redback 2.5" exaust. Seemed quiet to me until WOT so had the rear resonator removed. Sounds heaps better now

@@billwarrior234 really just depends what you like, I have since changed mine, I have stainless steel extractors hollow cat with redback 2.5 inch cat back 1 muffler it loud but that’s how I like it 😌

Short answer for a vt calais with an ecotec redback extractors hotdog no muffler its absolutely worth it
