Bachelor of dentistry internship 12 months period is a wastage of time... Expensive instruments,machines... After passing BDS we see low awareness in public regarding dental health and expecting low cost treatment... Nowtime Its not a worthy option in india.....very much saturated field...

Dentistry is a good career option... But only when u are dedicated towards your career.... If u are not dedicated towards any course.. U will not find scope in any of the fields... So it's all upon your dedication and hard work that will pay in any of the field... If you want to be a great doctor and want to study and gain knowledge and make money, definitely go for BDS

Never do bds. Neither from government nor from private college. U will end up getting nothing after spending much time and effort. Much saturation in this field in India and people expect low cost treatment in private practice and rare government jobs available. Extraction 100 rs or medicine free or koi gvt job nahi is se achha to nsg karlo. Dont waste time in dentistry. 5yr bahut hote hai or iske baad milta kya hai baba ji ka thulu.
