My $.02 is that for the price of a new 4stk exhaust system, you can buy a lot of gas to get you out riding and improving. Most people so not even need proformance mods... They need suspension dialed in for them and time in the seat.

Great review. However, after about 10 seconds, the background music makes me want to vomit. I suggest not using ANY music in the background, and just let us hear the engine and your review...... you dont need to add the music to make it a more finished product. I bought the powercore and titanium header for my 16 fe450 and noticed little improvement. Surprisingly, on my two new bikes, the 18 fe450 and 18 fx350, the improvement in power was very noticeable...only bought the slip on so far. I hate the rusty look of stock headers and when I can justify the cost of the blingy header x2, then I'll upgrade. Nice review btw, your channel is great and people are talking about you guys on the trail.

I have the same slip on installed on my 2018 YZ250F. It's interesting to note just how differently the 250F and 250FX are tuned from the factory. My bike has extremely twitchy throttle on the low end. I'm always making jokes on the trail on how with tall my first gear is, the first crack of the throttle on the trail is like an on/off switch. My pipe didn't change the low end much but it did make a noticeable difference in the mid and top ends. Always enjoy the vids and hopefully I'll see you up at Walker or at Tahuya this Memorial Day weekend!

The easy stalls was the only reason the Rekluse went on the big Husaberg FE501, none of the dumb 3 position map settings helped. Even though it's technically a xcw, not exc 500 with the euro map, still flame out city!

I have purchased a 250FX with a full titanium FMF exhaust. It is very pretty but also very expensive and I am contemplating going back to the OEM exhaust system and selling off the FMF. We ride very slow, technical gnarly terrain and I am just gonna throw that expensive exhaust system down a rocky hill and damage it. Seems like a waste.

The stock exhaust is terrible compared trade down the fmf is great on a 250f

@@Yz250fx in the end I kept the Ti FMF exhaust. The PO also gave me the OEM exhaust but it is a bit beat up. Its a good spare anyway.

Have you ever thought about blue tooth helmet mics for the talking me and my main 3 riding buddies all have them and they make riding trails so much more fun. For one we can talk shit back and forth when we see someone slip up or fall, and for two if some one at the back falls or sees a trail we missed or something like that they can just say hold on guys and it keeps the group together a lot more easily

Yeah I actually have two chatterboxes for that. Neither work anymore lol. They’re super expensive and don’t hold up well in the wet out here. What model are you using? Maybe I’ll try something different.

@@DirtyMountainGoats we all have the sena 30 or 20s and they work great I've had the chatter box and it didn't compare at all the the quality of the sena devises. The sena works way further away especially in the woods and I've slammed the helmet on that side several times and have come home with the thing soaked in mud to where you can't even see it even used the water hose to clean it off and after 2 years of abuse it still works just fine . My buddy did have the base that the sena unit locks onto go bad from the wires getting pulled on but you can buy the base part for like 40 bucks since its separate from the main unit which is where all the exspensive stuff is anyways they are exspensive no doubt,but it's also nice that my wife can call me while I'm riding and I can just keep going it even works my ok Google so I can even voice text someone if I need to and never even stop plus music if you want too.

@@DirtyMountainGoats the cheaper ones don't do so well but the better ones do pretty good now don't get me wrong if you are on the other side of a huge hill or mountain they may not work but just up and down regular hills and trails I can get a good 4 or 500 yards away through the trail before it starts to get static

Put the Q4 on my 250FX, second ride crashed hard now it is an expensive slip on with a massive dent. I'll let you know how hammering it out works 🤔 The power tuner was better money spent and it doesn't get crashed.
