I am happy that finally a lawyer said that. I, myself, am a psychologist and have worked in Police forensic teams. Most people do not realize that the Police and judges do not look for evidence. They are required to prosecute and convict. There is often no evidence at all. The police looks for contradictions and inconsistencies in the story of accused and accuser. The odds are against the accused because as I said they are haunted by protocols, statistics etc. to prosecute and convict. I know it is not fair but this is however it is unless there is more social and political desire to change the situation.

It is even worse when there was no rape, it was admitted by the girl to be consensual but still the prosecutor pushes forward with the case and makes the guy get a hard sentence, on other words a girl is 1 year below consensual age. Not only that the sentence is way too hard. I think all these evil laws and judicial practices should be subjected to international himan rights tribunal and get rid of and replaced with real respect for human rights for both parties. At the moment it is very evil and even criminalby the judicial system how it is applied.

Wrong. Not in my state. NEVADA would NOT press charges against the man who touched my daughter. Because it was her word against his, and he refused an interview or lie detector test, they would not prosecute him. The detective said her only option was a civil case when she turns 18. She had no motive for the accusation and after her interview by the lead forensic child psychologist in the state, all law enforcement and child protection professionals who had anything to do with the case unanimously agreed that she was telling the truth. But, because the man she accused lived out of state and it was, thankfully, an isolated incident, the Northern Nevada Child Sexual Assault Investigators said it was useless to try to prosecute and chose not to even turn her case over to the District Attorney’s office. So this guy seems to be completely full of it and is just trying to get paid by lying about the reality of the legal system.

That's awful. I'm so sorry to hear this and that he got away. I feel like it's a really delicate balance. I'm sure most victims don't lie. As you say, what is the motivation? Particularly that of a young child? The problem is that repeat offenders know how to play the system. I hope justice eventually catches up with him.

The reason is because sexual assault victims often couldn't provide any evidence and it was unfair to just let their abuser walk free. This alone means it's non-definitive, if someone has the ability to control or lack there of you get a false reading. Someone who's suffers from social anxiety may get false positives. Therefore the entire concept is flawed and pseudo science as if it were scientific it can be reproduced and predicted with near 100% accuracy, this is how scientific theories turn into applied science. If it's not reproducible with a near flawless certainty then it's flawed, and this is why these systems are not admissible in court.

Well, I live in Denmark too - and lost a job and contract because of some ladies 'feelings' towards me - I was never told who, when or under what circumstances - only about "unconfortable feelings in my presence' as a holistic health practitioner. I was not allowed to step my foot their soil ever again. to this day I do not know what specific I did to create such out of court execution and without room to get insight to the actual occurances. Just so say it is not always to the extreme of rape and sexual assault but also that any statement of (often) women will be taken as 'universal truth' ruining lives without a proper 'trial' ....

My cellmate was charged with Sexual Assault and minor trafficking when his ex girlfriend who had become a prostitute accused him after he refused to be with her because he had a wife and kids at that point. She trained two underage sisters to also be prostitutes and handled the money they made. She beat the hell out of the older one with a belt and also blamed that on him. I read through all the police statements and the evidence they had on him, which was none. The whore also contradicted herself many times in statements and changed the story, but the Prosecutor still wouldn't drop the charges. He went to trial and won. Women who do these false accusations are evil. He would have had to do 20 years and be registered as a sex offender the rest of his life if he lost. The Prosecutor is no better, they knew he was innocent

What about a covert narcassist who has decided to get rid of her step father because she is trying to get her way and he is establishing rules and boundaries? I am assisting a client in the production of his defence as he cannot afford the lawyers cost. Surly lieing is a crime? Teenagers lie an average of 3 times a day according to studies and in this case, the step daughter was smoking, seeing boys, wagging school, not getting up.... ruining the family... Then they have to move towns and she doesn't want to. Next minute she tells her Aunty (who is against the step father) and a charge is made. Yes a jury could see this but she also shows the full psychosis of a covert narc. The victim of this crime is the accused. No evidence, just a teen age girl wanting to rule the house. Entire family is ruined, and she doesn't blink an eye. This is a potential issue for every man getting involved with an established family. Be very carefull.

Sex assault without evidence is more likely the case will not go very far unless you are a repeat offender and there is more than one person came forward as a plaintiff. Rest assured if someone blame u for something you are not guilty until proven guilty. 😢

@@mortvald until there is strong evidence most cases will not go very far because court will not consider “he said and She said” as evidence. I have attended for many case from Magistrates court to Crown Court. Usually the judge interested the correlation between the defendant and Plaintiff. The CPS will be happy if they have text messages and videos eg CCTV footages and External Witnesses including evidence from the police report

That is not All true. I have Dissociative Identity Disorder formally known as multiple personalities. In some states, the detectives ask the victim/s in my case if we were willing to FaceTime our assailant. They informed a 14 year old that if we agreed to let them call him they wouldn’t close the case. Then the unthinkable happened. According to their laws if the accused refuses to talk & won’t come in for an interview or denies it then that’s it! Case closed. I’ve called governor’s & politicians to try to seek justice & change laws. Despite reporting it to over 200 medical professionals none of whom they interviewed & all that should have reported it to law enforcement. Yet just like every counselor, teacher, principal & anyone else that would listen no one has ever done anything about it. Well we are! We hope to change the world if God grants us the ability to do so & if not then hopefully our beautiful country that so many have let so many down.
