So much bad offensive football in the NFL this season. Not enough good offensive linemen to go around and then most teams have one or two go down and are playing backups. Defenses are keeping safeties back and pressuring the QBs who are checking the ball down and taking sacks. Rodgers is barely throwing the ball past the line of scrimmage. Justin Herbert threw 57 times last night for 238 yards, 4.2 yards per pass attempt.

All drops aren’t the same. They can be the receiver or the QBs fault. So don’t just quote that state and not see who was responsible. The same goes for interceptions. I’ve seen multiple interception games where none of them were actually the QBs fault

This is a sign that him being "the greatest thrower of the football ever" doesn't mean anything and all that talk about him having Brady's success if he were in New England can be put to bed. Outside of the Moss years Brady never had top tier receivers. Gronk was great yeah but much of Brady's claim to fame was his ability to make any receiver look good, and he did a lot of that. Rodgers just won two MVPs and without Devonte he looks about as good as Baker Mayfield. That's a big difference for just losing your #1. He's really not as good as he thinks he is. He's got the arm but there's more to being a great QB than that.

We’re so used to the packers dominating the regular season in the past that now it has become an expectation for them to win 13 games every year. That’s not the case this year. To me there looks like real concern that he might be washed. The media makes a big deal about how he only plays safe this year. What happened? Rodgers tried to throw a bunch of deep balls against the Giants and Jets but they didn't look good at all. The general inaccuracy he has shown this year is unlike any he has shown since before his first year as a starter. Say what you will about his receivers not being where they are supposed to be and all the things he complains about but what if the problem is much more simple. He is underthrowing most of his deep balls and throwing a bunch of balls low on out patterns. There is a comp available for this kind of sudden inaccuracy from a great QB and it's Peyton Manning in 2015. Manning was great and still himself in 2014 then absolutely fell off a cliff in 2015 at 39... Rodgers will be 39 in a month or so. He hasn't looked as bad or had that 1 atrocious game that truly signaled the end had arrived like Manning had quite yet... but to say there is zero concern about him going forward is straight up wrong.

With nil changing college athletes landscape along with social media if I was Alabama Jermaine Burton I would connect with Aaron Rogers n tell him I'm your #1 receiver Draft Me. I honestly thought packers was go draft Georgia WR Pickens in the 1st rd. I know Pickens battle injuries in his Georgia career but the man was oozing top 5 pick coming out of highschool. Georgia offensive run,run throw it to the tight end had a WR like Pickens going late in the 2nd rd unreal. Jermaine Burton probably 3rd rd or even 4th rd pick, his draft status plummeted. Alabama not looking Burton way he's they 3rd option so I don't see Burton blowing up in Alabama as I thought. Conversations like these are usually a bunch of false narratives and equivalencies. The simplest thing to do is ask yourself what components of QB play Aaron not excelling at? From what I've watched...he knows how to read a defense still, he can place the ball with accuracy, he has velocity on his passes, he can move through the pocket when it breaks down, and knows where people are supposed to be. So now ask yourself...is it possible the OL is giving up too much quick pressure...the WRs aren't in the right place or getting separation? 🤷‍♂
