Does not have men in motion, and there is no deception in his offense - and he controls the offense. He has to be perfect to succeed.

@@stevenvox6549 exactly right. He wants the defense to show what they are going to do so it makes it easier for him to decide what he is going to do. But for as smart as Aaron allegedly is, this actually makes it easier for defenses to defend him....especially now, when his skills have eroded so much. Motion is a critical part of offensive game planning.

Aaron didn't really fall off a cliff. He's been this bad since 2022. Go watch the tape. It really started with the home playoff loss to the 49ers in January 2022 and transferred over to the entire 2022 season...which was his last in Green Bay. Dude was spraying balls all over the field in that entire season, missing routine throws. Consistently throwing to the wrong guys, tons of underthrows, holding the ball forever, taking unnecessary sacks. He pretty much lost 3 or 4 games that season on his own. He hasn't had a 300 yard game since 2021!!!

Why not? Weren't watching his lady couple years with the Pack ? Party was on in GB when Jets took him! I'm not sure why owners don't learn this, thinking just because Tom and LeBron did it, anyone can.. oh, neither of them had Achilles injuries... then you have to factor in toxicity... use the Harden rule there... even if he's great, you don't want him there.... when I saw Rodgers throw the ball at his rookie reciever on the goal line w GB, and say " catch the ball MF"... I world have gotten him a jet the next day to Anywhere but on my team.... no accountability..

Rodgers thought that he could do what Brady did and he just showed that not anybody can show up past 40 and play like Brady. It is unfortunate for Rodgers fans but I think this is demonstrating that you have to be physically gifted (meaning have a body that does not age as fast) and take meticulously good care of your body like Brady did and it is very well documented how crazy Brady was about about his regiment from his 30’s onward. This video was a very good recap as to where AR stood for whether his career should carry on or just stop.

This is a dumb question. The answer is no. Just on the fact he’s still having a decent season. The fact is he’s top 10 in multiple categories. But he does have blame in why the team sucks. Biggest mistake firing the coach. That’s on woody Johnson.

Just for context, Roethlisberger did not get old this fast. Ben's last year he was in the playoffs. The year before, 12-3 (He sat out the last game as playoff position was wrapped up.) He had a terrible o-line both years -historically bad in 2021 - and no real star skill players. To the contrary, all things considered, Ben was pretty remarkable his last two years with a surgically repaired elbow.
@JamesHardy-yi1ph
@JamesHardy-yi1ph 8 күн бұрын
Ben's arm was fine, the issue is he couldn't move anymore. That wouldn't have been a deal breaker if he had a serviceable o-line and a coordinator not named Canada. I'm not sure people outside of Pittsburgh really understand the gravity of how bad Canada was. He is literally (not exaggerating) a bottom 5 coordinator in NFL history. All things considering, I would've much rather had Roethlisberger for one more year than deal with a Trubisky, Pickett, Rudolph bullpen.

@@chalachin4452 Neither could Trubisky, Rudolph, or Pickett. All of them, including Ben, averaged around 6.5 yards per throw. This is why people outside of Pittsburgh really don't have an opinion worth taking into consideration. You don't know anything about our offensive schematics at that time and therefore you're pretty ignorant about the whole topic. This wasn't a quarterbacking issue.
@chonch65
@chonch65 7 күн бұрын
@@chalachin4452 Wrong. Instead of telling me to watch the tape, get your facts straight. AB was gone after 2018, Connor was gone by 2021 and Juju was never a star without AB and only played 5 games in 2021 anyway. (The starting receivers were Dionte Johnson and Chase Claypool.) He had nothing in 2021 except the worst line in modern NFL history and all-time OC disaster. He was in the playoffs in 2021. We're talking about a Rodgers comparison here. Rogers is 3-9 with Devante Adams and Breece Hall...better tools than Ben had, by far...and once again, Ben was in the playoffs.

Why don't the Packers get more credit for Rodgers' success? They have always drafted well, been well coached, and have always surrounded their QBs with quality for success. It's really hard to separate the player from the system/environment. When the Packers allowed him to walk, that would have been enough for me to pass on him.

Im a die hard packer fan & i can assure you that man put the team on his back several years for green bay when coaching was lack luster along with poor defenses. Not sure it is all on Aaron. The OL is not the best, and the skill players make mistakes e.g. the Hall fumble. The defence is not top tier like it was last year. So, bench him? OK but would they be better had they kept Z Wilson? No.

True. AR used to throw 'impossible' passes into a tiny angled hoop at training camp, from 40 to 60 yards. He said it was all about muscle memory. After his lower leg injuries and then the Achilles, he has had less and less practice (and missed camp) over the last 10 years. Veteran NFL QBs say the game slows down as they get older, but the legs deteriorate...which is what happened to the confident pocket presence AR once had.

Come on now. Name the QB playing for the Jets who've been better than Rogers over the last 10 years? (Crickets) We are talking about the Jets. Now name the guy that the Jets should have signed instead of Aaron? Give me a break. He's coming back from a season ending injury at 40 years old and he still is better than what the Jets had. Fire the HC and GM and demote the OC. The team is a mess. So it's Aaron's fault because he can't fix it. Maybe the Jets should have signed Sam Donald

Right now, today Dec. 3 would take Bryce Young over Aaron Rodgers. Sounds crazy? Bryce is liked by teammates, it matters. Rodgers is not likeable, moody. Bryce got benched for poor play, he didnt pout and came back and is really playing better than before. Rodgers get benched he running to the owner like a child. Play breaks down, Young can pull it down and get yardage, maybe chunk yardage. Rodgers is a statue and if he does run it looks like he has a piano on his back
