Old city areas where you went (teen darwaza, manekchowk, etc) can definitely become a little problematic on some days, but the rest of the city is bang on! Very very well lit and cops are always patrolling! Being a dry city is definitely one of the main reason of it being safer than other cities. Thanks for sharing the awareness through this video.

Hey, we definitely had a safe experience in Ahmedabad. Teen Darwaza did feel a little creepy because it wasn't so well lit and there weren't much people around, but we are glad we did not face any issues there. 😊

Hey, I am a localite in Ahmedabad, I really agree with you when you said that some areas are safe while others are not. Well, that is definitely true you roamed around the older parts of Ahmedabad where you might come across eve teasing and etc but the newer part of Ahmedabad such as Sindhu Bhawan Road, Thaltej, Science city basically after crossing the bridge and coming to the other side of the river, the city becomes really safe. I remember one time, I was coming back to Ahmedabad from other city at 4 in the morning and we were stopped by 3 cops at different areas for regular patrolling, they thoroughly made sure that everything was okay in the car, there was nothing illegal thing ongoing on. so basically yes, in comparison to other cities, police force of Ahmedabad works hard in night to keep the city safe. Another thing mentioned in your video, it is practically compulsory for autos to have their owner's name, driver name, women helpline, police helpline and ambulance helpline along with their auto number to be written inside the auto to aid the passenger in any inconvenience or emergency, which is a superb initiative, I think.

Lal Darwaja is muslim area, it is dangerous to go in day also for a woman to go alone there even though it is crowded. Avoid old Ahmedabad city and you will fill yourself 100% safe

@@Fatimahaidarii bcz in that area murders arr frequent. also whenever you go there for shopping they (mostly sellers in that area are muslims ) keep staring at you like never seen a woman/ girl earlier. That market is cheeper then any other market of Gujarat plus they have so many varieties so we choose that market. It is highly advisable if you wanna go there please go with your male friend or any other male person whom you can trust otherwise it is very dangerous place. And be aware.

@@neha3788 hey Neha ji I am Hindu Woman and I did shopping from Laldarwaja lots of Time with my female friends and sometimes alone too. I never felt like Dangerous. Don't call that place dangerous because of particular religion. No doubt there are so many muslim shopes but you will see mostly Hindus there for shopping. I don't say trust all blindly. But dangerous word is too much. Ya you should be careful with ur wallet and things. Be careful but still I'll say that place is not dangerous. My Gujarat is the safest. 😊🔱

Di,I want to thank you for showing your strength and courage to shoot the video.I am living in Ahmedabad only and i can ensure you that it is the safest city for women.On the other side I will suggest not to travel city areas like Juhapura,Dariyapur ,Lal Darwaza,Shahpur,etc.at day also.But areas like sindhu bhavan, Vastrapur,thaltej, ghatlodia, paldi are the safest and you can go alone at night without any hesitation in night

If you wear a bikini on the beach, no one will stare at you. But, if you wear it on mountains, all will look at you with curiosity. Similarly, the clothes which you wore are normal in the western part of Ahmedabad but not in the eastern part like Kalupur station, Saraspur and all. So, don't judge any city without knowing all aspects of it.

I am from Ahmedabad during an audit season basically in October there is a late sitting in the office due to work load. Me and office team were left after finish of my work at 1:00 AM around I booked rapido. I can say it is very safe I didn't feel any unsafe. I thank to Rapido man for dropping me at my home. Don't judge too quickly,the old city here have different tranditions and mindset,and people having some cultural mindsets,they are just curious as they saw u looking different from the women around there, it doesn't mean that they're having some ill intentions or other values regarding u,its just curiousity nothing much,yeah there might be some odds but it doesn't represent whole bunch! It's the same thing when some white guy from uk or us comes to India with their cameras and make vlogs around and public in large saw them with curiousity and nothing else which foreigners considered it as weird things! Just a perspective from Ahmedabadi

Madam.. ek bar NAVRATRI me aa k dekhna puri Ahmedabad ki girls- womens freely ghumti h.. not just 2am.. puri rat matlab puri rat. Fir b kisi ko kuch nahi hota... Aur wo b kyo pata hai?? Woman pure aur achhe kapdo me sobhti hai. Naa ki chote chote kapdo me... kyoki open body kisi koi b purush ko attract kr skti h jo.... aur sb insan ki soch ek jesi nahi hoti.. ok?? Ahmedabad is really safe.par aap sabhi area me jaa nahi sakte. It’s common sense.old ahemdabad is little risky.River ke opposite area me jao, udhar ka area mostly safe he. You are not safe even if it’s new york. Don’t go to risky area of any city. Baki puri raat gumo ahemedabad me.

Avoid to go in old city areas,i am not saying why but i will say that it is not safe for women.However if you visit vastrapur, thaltej,sindhu bhavan etc it is safest for women.

in gujrat there is concept of SHE TEAM in which girl can contact them to drop at any place & in she team mostly all cops are ladies.
