Obviously Vincent is miles clear in every department which is key. From starting training establishment {huge} betting to survive, buying plenty of his own stock, at sales, breeding knowledge, seeing potential i.e northern dancer and ultimate training and hugely successful both codes. Vincents legacy lives on through coolmore, ballydoyle. brilliant facilities which he founding member. All terrific trainers above but none have all these qualities to such a high level. special mention to Jim Bolger, Mark Johnson who both started from scratch. Looking for negatives i would have to say Henry Cecil reluctance for international racing is big flaw. Would rarely have runners abroad unless likes of middle eastern owners etc wanted. That was a big reason Dubai removed all their horses from him and others. You had to more or less force henry to run abroad.

Sir Henry, Sir Michael, Richard Hannon, John Gosden, Aiden O'brien. Sir Henry trained horses like Slip Anchor, Reference Point, Le Moss, Ardross, Royal Anthem, Bolkonski, Kris, Indian Skimmer, Diminuendo, Midday Buckskin, Old Vic, Bosra Sham, Frankel & on & on.
