I think air travel is getting worse since travel demand is at an all time high. Many airport and airline workers have been very stressed out. I feel everyone needs to work collaboratively regardless of who they work for.

I think the key factor is EXPECTATIONS. You purchase a cheap ticket, don't expect first class service. You purchase Basic Economy knowing your seat is assigned later, then deal with the middle seat.

THIS...and so much more! It is b/c the lines for everything is so blurry. Don't get me wrong; Airlines lay it all out but people truly don't pay attention to WHAT THEY ARE BUYING! It is not that hard!

I’m in Vegas. I fly to Seattle 1 to 2 times a month, and I fly to Colorado and Cali very often through the year. I spend a ton of my time at airports and in planes, I do not experience this often, at all. It’s rare, in my experiences. Might just be my locations?

I have flown five times in the last two years with four airlines (United, Spirit (2x), Air Canada, and Southwest). Only one of those trips went somewhat poorly (with a toddler kicking my seat all the way). I had no problems on the other occasions.

Re: legroom As somebody with long legs, I hate the legroom as much or more than anybody else. That being said, I don't want the FAA regulating legroom, because the FAA exists to ensure passenger safety, not comfort. The DOT as a larger agency, however, could regulate legroom. That being said, if there's more legroom, the seats will cost more. There's no way around that. If you want more legroom, you can always buy a seat that has more legroom. Note: I am not affiliated with any airline/no conflicts of interest. his is just my opinion.

Air travel in North America is absolutely terrible. I’m lucky to live very close to JFK airport and we can get to pretty much anywhere. People who live in say Nebraska or Oklahoma have a much harder time getting from point A to point B.
