Is Alastor colorblind? Hazbin Hotel Theory

Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel?
Recently there’s been a fan theory that alastor is colour blind. I’ll break it down.
So as we know alastor is part deer. One twitter user pointed out that deer have dichromatic vision which means they are red green colour blind, but can see all kinds of blues and yellows.
Tiktok user xsuyuu created a compilation of clips with a dichromatic filter on it so we can see what alastor would see, which ill have playing in the background.
The deer colour spectrum is also coincidentally the same colour scheme as the aro ace flag, being yellow white and blue which i find quite interesting.
Overall i think it’s a fun theory, and perhaps it explains why alastor is so obsessed with vox being that he’s blue.

By this logic Husk would also be somewhat colorblind, since cats also have different color spectrum than regular human. And this would also apply to hellhounds and other animal demons. Sir Pentious might have infrared/thermovision because snakes do have that. I don't really know how this would affect Angel Dust or Valentino, but there is possibility they also have special sight.

If Alastor's hell form is mostly human and partly deer, I imagine that Alastor CAN see color like a human, especially considering his magic uses black and lime green. As interesting of a theory as that would be, Alastor's doodles would counter that possibility. He used different types of red to color in the hotel, as well to write "No tacky circus decor! I promise!" on a sticky note. And while the doodle was silly, it still matched the actual hotel. There's also that one scene where Alastor grabbed the single green leaf out of a bunch of yellow leaves(scene where he makes a deal with Charlie). Plus he purposefully wears red specifically (using specific shades that match pretty well), going with a specific theme. Also, Vox is the one obsessed with Alastor, not the other way around.

He's pretty accurate with the red and green colors, which would be extremely hard if he were colorblind, since those colors would be grey to him if he were. Sure, he could get tones right, but there are red and green tones that match in greyscale, which he could easily mess up. Alastor is too prideful to ask for proper help when it comes to any "weakness", so he wouldn't likely ask for help distinguishing the colors, which would have led to at least one awkward moment for him where he mismatched something.

I really like this as, since the environment and characters around him are mostly shades of red, he'll be seeing most of the world essentially in black and white which seems appropriate to his love of everything old timey. Vox sticking out, being mostly blue, makes this very funny as i can imagine Alastor just thinking he's being very flashy in a black and white world. And the aroace link is so perfect! Definitely coincidental but i love that connection

I’m slightly red green colorblind, so that makes Alastor much more cooler to me. P.S. The way I see red and green isn’t in grays, but rather red as brown/yellow and green as yellow or grays. This might be different for deers though since they are a different animal.

When he heads the bar area it’s a very clashy blue green color that Lucifer comments on. Alastor can’t see that it’s all read and only sees it in shades of grey. Thus “adding color”
