Since you like the Cuban coins, Cuba makes coins for visitors and different coins for locals, and they are worth different amounts. The tourist coins are easier to find, but also have more exchange value. I collect foreign coins, but would not have purchased this lot. Still, there were 3 or 4 which would have been new to my collection.

Italy doesn’t produce 1 and 2 cent coins anymore. Your coin isn’t worth more due to this fact but I thought it’s a neat little detail to share. Edit: the 2 cent coin you didn’t know was from Italy

Well, as someone familiar with this Amazon listing: First and foremost this is a generic listing with a lot of traffic, so about 10 different sellers sell their own different versions of these coin bags. It is not 10 all at the same time, but if you keep watching over time, as different vendors get their inventory, you will see different sellers. Then, the only reason "New" version even exist is because one unsavory vendor , who must have watched a lot of Amazon related KZbin videos and tried to hijack the listing and offer his version, which was essentially the same price and extra $20 shipping. People do that to catch unsuspecting Amazon customers. That vendor is gone, but that's the reason the listing changed.

Just to note : with less travel, covid lockdowns and, as a result, more interest in the hobby the bulk coin prices are up about 50% in the last 2 years. That can be pretty much confirmed from your original video too - you bought your last year bag for $9.16.

Yeah, I'd only purchase something like that for a little fun, NEVER as some kind of investment. The truth is, if you get something of any value, it's going to be entirely by accident. I have probably 150lbs of foreign coins that I've collected over the years, but generally all of the Silver and truly collectible coins have been pulled out of any foreign coins that you find for sale. On occasion though, you can find a few lbs of coins for sale for $2 or $3, but it's even more rare to find any Silver among them.

The 9 British one p's though. All that junk is the lowest denomination. If it costs $15 the coins are worth $1 at most. The better ones are obselete scrap metal. A horrible con trick in my opinion.

There are several reviews of Moenich and all are bad, its the cheapest rubbish around and wildly overpriced. They mainly do 1c type coins and aluminium and low denomination rubbish from slavic countries.
