Hell, as a young Black man who currently lives in the North American suburbs in Ohio. (Had to move in with my parents at 23-24, because the cities are way too expensive working basic Factory and Forklift driving jobs.) It's no better than the city, sure it might be "safer". (Which is kind of a farce depending how far you go into the more rural /country-esque parts, if you catch my drift.) But the suburbs are so isolating as a Black man and as a human-being in general. Everyone goes to work, barely speaks to each other and is always suspect of each other. Then when the workday is done, people just hide out in their isolated kingdoms called "houses". Most suburbanites numb their dull existences with Netflix, Porn, Videogames, or hobbies one usual does alone. How do I know? This is how I've been living for the past 6-9 months after working my factory shift. I'm so sick of it man. It really is like a mental-psychological hamster-wheel. We (all Americans. Black, White, Hispanic, Asian) are forced to work for even the most basic shit, like friendship or intimacy. I've been so isolated (which is my fault & responsibility) that I've forgotten how to properly socialize with my fellow men & women. I cannot remember the last time I belly laughed with friends just hanging out without any ulterior motives. I cannot remember the last time I talked to a woman without having some sort of anxiety. Maybe I'm not being "man," enough. But this great depression still stands. Which is strange, I am technically freer than any of my ancestors who sacrificed so much for me to have my opportunities. Yet alas, my heart is still hollow and devoid of peace. I stayed in Ghana last year for about two weeks, and it was honestly a breath of fresh air. But again, that shit is damn expensive if you do not have a consentient source of income coming in. I feel pathetic. I am 24, and I have no idea what to do with my life. If I could, I would just be living in the desert as a nomad. Or on the high seas as a travelling Gypsie of sorts; but I know I got to be more realistic than that. Peace & blessings

You should go van life get a dog hike and camp out every night lol 😂 the city sucks suburbs are a little boring.... nature is way to go
@davidcaldwell5420Ай бұрын
@Nobody-f9y You know, I've often thought about going off the grid. But I definitely would not want to do that sort of thing in North America. Perhaps in one of the coastal countries in West Africa?🤔 I've seen alot of videos about Van-life, seems like something viable. It will definitely require making your income through an online business of some sort. Thanks for the suggestions, peace and blessings. ✌🏿
@rasbot26 күн бұрын
Get your seaman paper from USCG Auxilliary reserve class. Will provide basic skills for coastal life across the globe. Like babysitting in liveaboard marina near DC navystation, tender boats in Australia, fishing boat mate or captain for knotless wonders in Florida, Hawaii, Caribbean and Great Barrier Reef. There's hidden gems in the suburbs of paramilitary Auxiliary units like USCG and Power Squadron. Yacht delivery, pilot for cruise ships or running gas to stranded boaters in ICW. Retired people will encourage and teach you to do anything 😂. I went off grid but no van or sheds.

On a side note Langston...Never say never...I am not preaching...in 62 years I have seen a lot. Keep fighting the good fight. We only have 70-90 years on this earth? Help those that can't help themself! Be God's hands and feet ....or parish by them. It's always your choice. You come into this world naked, I can guarantee you live naked. All you think is important in this life, you live behind. Worry about where your energy goes next? 🧐 The body stay here and rots aways. Concentrate on your spirit! It definitely shines... And what you can do to help others...then your needs are always fulfilled. Keep up the good videos. OPEN PEOPLES EYES IN A GOOD WAY!!!

As it relates to what you said at 5:30, a person don't know how much 🏧💵💰🏧💵💰 another person got, and you must not be fooled. One person could be sittin' on 10's of millions 🏧💵💰🏧💵💰in the 🏦 while living a modest-@ss life with their fully-paid-off-modest-@ss house. But, on the other hand, an person who had been wanting to stunt with the luxury cars and a $4,000,000 mansion and doing too too much spending 💵💰🏧 💵💰🏧 to keep up with the Joneses and them is, due to bankruptcy, on their way to losing their house. Can't enough of us comprehend that?
