I have 3 iggies, which means I also just had to be a 3 drawer dresser devoted specifically to their sweaters, hoodies, coats, fleece jammies and snoods. I also have an entire shelf in my linen closet devoted to their many blankets… but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

The Best Breed ever!! I miss mine...our bond was so strong..I just cannot get another one. Now I have mini Dachsunds. They are a great breed as well!

I have a russian toy terrier and it sounds exactly like what i provide for her. I want to adopt an italian greyhound bc i think they would fit great together. Lovely video and lovely dog ❤

Adorable video, and so true... We loved our Bella so much but she had challenges as described. The love and companionship was worth it though... We miss you Bella bunny! 😢❤❤❤

Hello Sukka and your resident opposable thumbs (I.e. humans). We call our Iggy mix the Velcro dog because he wants to be stuck to us at all times. We’ve also found the commercially made “piddle pads” to be a blessing. Especially at 3 am when he needs “to go” and no one wants to have to get up and get dressed to take him out. The good news is they are very food and reward motivated, you just have to be really quick to reward good behavior. We have used clicker training very successfully with all of ours.

We have a two an a half year old whippet x iggy who is id say 80% house trained. On raint days she absolutely refuses to go outside. However we have a 5 month old iggy now and he rarely pees around the house and has no issues going outside. But when we put him in his crate during work meetings or if were busy for whatever reason he tends to pee in/out of it any advise on putting a stop to this ? We have tried crate training. We feed him in there everytime he goes in their of his own choice we reward him. Im just worried this is goinf to be a long term problem. Its strange to me because to my knowledge dogs dont like peeing in their bed. And my oldest despite happy to pee in the caroet would rather burst before peeing in ger crate.

Hello! Thank you for your message. I am not a dog trainer or anything and Sukka is not actually crate trained. We separated one room with a high baby gate and she learned quickly to settle there. It took us almost a year that she was 100% house trained. We are living in an apartment (top floor) so I think that made it a little more complicated for us. I’m sure you can find a lot of videos from KZbin how to crate train. Good luck with everything! ☺️

They are wonderful in every way .There is a dog park near where I live were dogs can run safely of lead .My apartment has a huge garden courtyard .Question do they chase birds of all kinds ? I ask since i walk a lot to film such and we have many forests .I know you will give a truthful answer :) Like 16
