Cosmetics for "beauty" purposes should not even exist in the first place. There is no objective reason why to manufacture it. It´s not a matter of health or hygiene. If someone "needs" it so desperately they should take all the risks on themselves. Period. It also makes me mad there are no cruelty-free companies making medical drugs. Animal testing of drugs is always required, so we don´t have any choice when we get ill.

This is exactly why we need to move towards more human-relevant testing methods! While animal models have their place, they often don't translate well to humans. Using primary cells and stem cells can provide a much more accurate and reproducible way to test drugs, getting us closer to that 90% accuracy the FDA requires. It's great to see the development of these techniques, and exploring lab-on-chip technologies is another exciting avenue!

I think it's outdated and unnecessary to torture another living creature regardless of it helps find another way I've seen pictures of beagle puppies sitting in crates waiting to be transported to labs all excited because they think there going on a big adventure not to be tortured and then executed all in the name of science I watched the videos on here there little eyes full of hope and my god I nearly cried for them were supposed to be a higher intelligent species sometimes I really wonder
