i really enjoyed the way you edited this vlog!! don't get me wrong i love the business-forward style of your vlogs and find them super helpful but this one definitely felt a lot more casual and personal :-) i also vended at AP!! i dropped by and gave you that "i deserve a sweet treat" sticker haha! this was my first ever artist alley/con vending experience and honestly i had a lot of fun!!!

Great Video, Anime Pasadena is a show I've been wondering if I should try as I'm super local to that area. Questions, why so much blur effect, dose this show not allow filming in the hall or something?

@@Inkwell thanks for watching! It’s definitely worth trying since you’re local and already an established artist and vendor. Anime Riverside is another one worth looking into since the vendor to attendance ratio seems to be more “balanced” than w AP As for the blur, I’ve been trying to blur people’s faces out if the video shows their face for longer than a few seconds for my own preference, in case they don’t want to be shown in it

I also artisted at AP, pretty much at the other end of the hall, and I noticed the crowds dropping off about the same time you did. The vibes with the crowd were so nice! Good luck at chibi!!

Thank you for your sight about AP! I did this con too and wanted to see if we share the same experience. It was definitely a lot slower than AR, but I did made back my table. I was sorta hesitant to come back for various reasons, but I looked at my stats and I'm willing to try out AP for next year. Probably, I'm might go for the AA since I did vendor and I was next to a funko pop vendor which was not fun 😑 One thing I want to add is that another reason why AR was faster than AP is because AR came in a time where people, especially kids and college students, are out of school. I vividly remembered that I met a lot of families and kids at AR. While with AP, I don't see as many families and students and it was in the middle of a semester which might had affected my sales.

The mention about the number of families is a good point, AR probably also did well since it’s one of the first anime cons in the SoCal area in the summer, so ppl are excited about it, whereas AP also has AX Chibi the following weekend so ppl might choose one or the other and would split attendance
