To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzbin.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

But I've used Samsung phones before and after they started wireless charging, it made things so much easier and simple. It doesn't seem like much of a difference, but it meant I was charging my phone every time I placed it on the table not even thinking about it and I would never run out of charge. But I would never buy it as an add on for overpriced headphones for even more money, especially not when it's Apple's excuse for not actually changing anything in 2 or 3 years. I think more people are finally seeing that's what Apple have always done with their iPhones too. I would just buy the Galaxy Buds.

I find AirPods in general to be the best product they’ve released in recent years. Surprised how i loved them more the longer I’ve had them. Super comfortable, has legit never fallen off, even with motion (I’m an acrobat). I don’t see any reason to upgrade to this updated generation, because they’re pretty awesome as is. Hopefully future generations will let you have a gesture control for volume on the physical buds themselves, but definitely not a deal breaker. Good job.

I'm using my airpods on a Galaxy S8 With Android 9.0, and I gotta say, they work pretty flawless except for the occasional hiccup (maybe once every 2 days) And I also have an app that shows you how much battery is left in it. So for me it works pretty damn well on Android :)

I have the Samsung gear 2018 and the only thing wrong with them is this 'fitness mode'. But other than that they are amazing, quick connect, several different fins and bud sizes, 4 hours charge in a bud and 8 hours in the case, using one at a time they can get me through a 12 hour shift only switching ears once while putting them away periodically. 10/10 would recommend

@@Jimmy_Jones Right on, and I'm on Manjaro Deepin, my only issue is I recently had to do full reinstalls on 2 systems after an update to the Deepin DE borked the Window effect from turning on(also effected window compositing), so yeah the Manajro Deepin team needs to do a bit more testing before pushing updates, but otherwise an overall positive experience for me, as Mint Mate would not even work correctly after a kernel update via Ukuu with my AMD RX 560 4GB GPU with all kinds of issues.

The Jabra Elite 65T (for normal use) and Jabra Elite Sport (for working out) are my preferred wireless ear buds. Great noise isolation, stay glued in my ears, and have good audio quality.

I've owned the AirPods 1 for more than a year now and they are really handy and easy to use and to bring with me. But the big let down is that they let through almost all outside noise which made me higher the volume to the level of almost damaging for my ears. Now I've ordered the Shure SE535 though so I'll see how that'll compare. I'll update the comment if I remember.
