I'm sorry that the Archive.org website is not working. They had a DDoS attack about a week ago. They are updating and patching all of their systems before putting them back online. I am hoping they will have the website back up and running by the end of this week for all of us. I rely on Archive.org myself for a lot of software that is hard to find or older versions of software.

I am not able to confirm whether or not their emails were leaked or hacked. I do know that the site had a DDoS attack. They have been working around the clock to update, patch, and secure all of their servers to ensure this does not happen again.

I wish that I could give you an exact answer. So far, they currently have the Wayback Machine, Archive-It, and Archive Blog up and running. I am hoping within the next week they will have the full Archive.org up and running.

You are correct. As soon as they get finished patching and updating their website/server, they will bring the Archive.org back online.

I was about to buy a modded ps2 with this on it i know nothing about it but i asked the guy if I could add more games in the future but he said the archive was down or something i would like to ask if you recommend getting that modded ps2 or just a regular one? Do you think itll ever be back online and if so is it hard to add games to it?

I am confident they want to get the Archive.org website up and running as quickly as possible; however, they want to make sure it is secure before doing so. After it is up and running all of the links, data, and software will be back the way it was previously. At this point, you should be able to download the PS2 games and play them just like you could previously. As long as you know how to download the PS2 games and run them, the modded PS2 sounds like a good deal (at least I think so 😉) I hope that helped.
