I bought this fragrance two weeks ago and despised it so much that I almost threw it in the trash. The opening was too strong and it smelled way different than any other cologne. But after a few days I gave it another chance and it didn't smell as bad. The 3rd time it started to grow on me. After the 5th day I was hooked. I've been wearing it now for a week straight and have been getting compliments left & right. It smells like peppery lemons. 🍋 You might not like it at first but don't give up on it. It's a very unique and pleasing scent.

I had the same experience, but i heard from one fragrance reviewer that some fragrances' smell can be affected by the heat from shipping and you should give it a week or two to settle down, i thought i was kinda bs at first but i guess it really did turn out to be true as the smell became much more pleasant and less synthetic after a few days.

I've had a bottle for a little over a year and never received a single compliment on the overhyped scent, which to me smells like a lemon cleaner all the way through. How would you describe the scent and how many applications do you typically do with it? I never stated that I do or do not like the scent, only said it smelled like a lemon scented cleaner to me and that basis was through conducting my own trials. Nice review and very accurate. I have a February 2019 batch of CDNIM which is off the charts good. I’m so-o-o lucky! It starts off with the lemony opening, but mine is not at all that harsh. As it dries down, that smoky birch slowly eases into play and the finish is really really good. The performance is a ten and so is the sillage...plenty potent and great trail. I use it sparingly because I know there are variations, different years, different batches. Every time I wear it...compliments galore and my wife loves it. Addendum: After almost a year and one half since it was produced, the somewhat harsh lemony opening has mellowed to more closely resemble the pineapple accord associated with Aventus. I like it even better!

I rate MB explorer. Only recently purchased CDNIM. The opening is sharp and acrid as reported. The dry down is excellent. Probably enjoy it a little more than explorer but both very good. Planning CDNIM EDP once I've exhausted the EDT.

I never tried Creed but I knew it was very popular (and $$$). Honestly when I tried this, I wasn't too big on it. It wasn't BAD, but it wasn't the OMG that everyone hypes Aventus to be. That being said, after wearing it a couple times it has grown on me and I do enjoy it much more than I did at first. It's a nice frag that I'll wear quite often. Might be my top 3 budget frags.

True.. When i first sprayed it I thought I had made a big mistake lol It does smell very synthetic and super obvious its not the real deal, but after about 10 minutes it settles and its shocking how similar and how well it projects

I compared both Creed and Armaf. I'll say that the initial blast both smell extremely similar. But when they settle the Creed changes a bit in the smell and smells a bit more balanced and fruity, and less agrressive. The Armaf continue to have the same smell as the initial blast, it has a very strong piercing smell that not everyone will like. None of these parfumes is a secure card, cause they have a somewhat weird base to begin with, not everyone like pineapple parfumes. Armaf also performs like a beast, I truly dont recommend you to use more than one spray. You will stink yourself to oblivion. The Armaf projects the whole day easily, and does so on one spray. The Creed dont project nearly as strong as Armaf, but that is kinda good in this case. So, is the Creed Aventus worth the money? No I dont think so, it smells pretty nice, but not THAT nice. I think Creed Aventus is over-hyped. And youll see in blind tests when competing towards other parfumes that it actually dont perform very well with the ladies. So. There are better and cheaper alternatives out there from Chanel, YSL, Dior etc. For the same money you can get two to five premium parfumes from other brands. If you want the Creed smell, get the Armaf instead, literally nobody will be able to smell the difference. And it lasts longer than the Aventus too. I got mine for 27 euro brand new, so theyre cheap. If you havent smelled Aventus before, but dont like Armaf, dont bother buying Aventus.

This fragrance I discovered I think about 7 years ago.. I was so blown away by the juice I bought 12 bottles... I'm so glad I did to this day its simply Sublime..... Phenomenal fragrance... Silage and projection longevity is outstanding way better than the Creed......I'm only on my third bottle of my armaf collection.... I would never sell a bottle I would rather sell the remains of my Creed aventus.....

Shes not lying about the scent bubble. It will left "footprints" The smell lingers for quite sometime. The lemony acidic top note, it attacks you in the opening but the dry down is the best. Not many can cope with the opening because most of them said the smells sort of "piercing" them so thats a head turner for sure. Heads will turn. Overall its one of the best.

I got my bottle of club de nuit intense man yesterday. I had one of my chick friends smell it and she didn't like it (she said it smelled like an old man). I left her house to go get gas. I had two compliments inside the gas station from women and another compliment as I was finishing putting gas in my truck from a woman on the other side of the pump. 12 hours later and I can still smell it on me, even after a shower. It's going to be interesting to see how many compliments I get tomorrow.

3 aspectos a considerar: 1 Recién comprado huele peor que despues de 1 mes de uso 2 Hay que esperar la primera media hora para q se parezca a Aventus (Proyecta y dura mucho, es muy rico superado ese tiempo) 3 La distancia a la que se aplica el perfume, hace q huela diferente. Sugiero aplicarlo a unos 15 centímetros del lugar. (NO APLICAR MUY CERCA DE LA ZONA DESEADA, potenciará el cítrico/amargo desagradable del inicio)

People can smell you with this from feets away especially when you move around leaving the scent on air. If you dont receive a compliment doesnt mean they cant smell you. I was surprised i got compliments 8hrs after spraying. I sprayed 8 sprays. 6 on my clothes. 2 on my neck. 1hr before going to work.

I've been on the Club De Nuit Intense train for awhile and actually just finished off my bottle yesterday. Will probably order another or take a shot at the Armaf Hunter Intense to see if I'm as surprised as I was when I first received CDN. How tastes can differ. I received Club the Nuit this week. It doesn't smell like Creed Aventus at all. For me Club de Nuit has one if the worst openers I've ever smelled. Although the dry down is good. I do love Explorer a lot more and do wear it often. Creed Aventus is the king for me.

@@amangoyal3786 It wasn’t until I tried just about every Aventus dupe on the market, that I was able to procure 250 mls of an original batch of Aventus for only $200/100 ml. That original 2010 batch is the “smoky” batch with the birch wood note.

I had this one for 2 years, I use it only sometimes. it feels like its too strong. when you spray it, it wont leave your nose which is annyoing for me. but after the spray passed 2 3 days, it becomes really nice on clothes, very pleasing

I like it, but mine smells orange to me. I guess the EDP Limited was reformulated to smell more like pineapple. For the price I'd get any of them, they smell great.

Have you tried al haramain l'aventure? That one is very good as well, if i wear that one or CDNIM I get compliments all day. Best compliment was probably from al haramain l'aventure though as some girl litrally freaked out when i walked past from smelling it. Both are amazing in my opinion, especially for the price.

Monika, try Club de nuit intense pure parfum, less harsh, more smooth in the opening and last about 10 hours + with huge projection for first 2 hours.

@@salvaahthesageofficial2457 I‘ve never smelt the aventus but all I can say is that armaf is very long lasting and strong. At first I didn‘t like it or didn‘t find it special but it grew on me. And for that price tag you can‘t do anything wrong tbh

I have never smelled Creed Aventus but I have Mont Blanc Explorer and like it a lot so I wanted to try this but was afraid of the harsh opening. So I am thinking of purchasing the EDP instead, is it better?

This is by far my most complimented fragrance. Extremely close to Aventus. MBE is nice, but EXTREMELY to weak in terms of performance. CDNIM is the Aventus clone king!

The opening of CDNIM is quire harsh for me when i smell it directly from my skin, especially the super synthetic lemon note. But it is extremely good when i smell it from the air. The dry down is much better. It’s super smoky, super fruity, and super pleasant. I cannot smell it after an hour applying, but people around me still can pick it up. Were it not to be a clone, i would buy another bottle to use.
