I'm not completely confident about predicting the future yet, but I've been delving into astrology as a hobby for a while now. What I can definitely affirm is that examining someone's Kundli provides valuable insights into their personality and family connections. At first, I had my doubts, but as I looked into the Kundlis of my friends and family whom I know personally, I was able to uncover aspects such as their behaviour, tendencies towards making impulsive decisions, inclinations towards affairs, and sources of happiness. And to my surprise, it all turned out to be accurate! Disclaimer I am an software engineer and not a pro at astrology .

That's exactly where the problem is. You know your friends and that can cause significant cognitive bias in your findings. You're an engineer, so you know how data sampling errors should be avoided. Get a sample of a few people you absolutely know nothing about, not even how many kids they have, their family, economic status or where they live (tricky but find a way). Then make their kundali. Show it to them and tell them that it is some famous person's kundali (this is how you avoid Barnum effect when they don't know it's theirs). If astrology works, they should all be surprised and claim that this so called famous person's life is surprisingly same to their own. If they can't even guess that, then your predictions have failed.

Couple of years ago , I got a call from a person saying that I had won lottery of 25 lakh . He asked for my bank account details to transfer the amount . His voice was calm and soothing and a simpler person would easily fall into the trap . I kept talking about this and that , wasting time trying to get him irritated . Finally , I asked him why he was doing this , some poor person would be cheated of his lifetime savings . He replied that he used to be an Astrologer but because of lockdown , his income was stopped . He said he had a good voice and could convince people . She didn't mention she would get commission of Rs 2000/- for every deposit 😆 I asked if she could deposit that amount in my name and upon maturity , give me Rs 5000 as MY commission and keep rest 95000 . Personally I have a keen interest in astrology. It's a subject that has fascinated many cultures across the globe. I'm more interested in the personality traits that the kundali gives. I do, however, take it with a handful of salt. I think it gives more combinations than the MBTI test XD Also, I think astrology is only indicative and gives you some things to think about that you might have not considered before. Some of the astrologers I have met have been very forthcoming about their predictions being indicative at best and that the rest depends on what I do in life as the future depends on the present. They mearly tell some auspicious time period and what avenues could be focused on. But I don't think one should totally depend on astrology. Just take it as a fun activity you do once or twice in life lol

Let me tell you something which will amuse you. My Mama (maternal uncle) was an astrologer (Asian Summit Gold medalist in astrology). I used to ask Mama how do you convince people to believe you, because future is uncertain and no body would believe if they haven't seen it yet. So what Mama used to do, he used to tell their past. That you have already experienced and only you know it. Believe me, Mama used to reveal such deep dark secrets which people made astonished, they used to be shocked. How this guy knows about me. I can't write everything over here or else I would have written stories which are too interesting to hear. My point is- it is all about calculations and perfection. In market there are many fake astrologers who are responsible for such bad name. And astrology can never be 100% accurate, if that happens then what about God and Universe? So some portion Gods will keep it to them only. If everything could be predicted then we could avert natural calamities too

Bhai great video! Just one correction at 10:50 no satellite has taken a picture of the Milky Way from "the outside" all of the images where we can see the milky way as a "whole or complete" galaxy are artist renders. It is just TOO big for any satellite to reach that point right now. The furthest man-made object is only just reached the outermost point of our solar system(Voyager 1). We can see the milky way at a good dark spot at night (with no light pollution) and based on the data and images collected from our reference point, it is estimated to have that shape, as seen in the pictures. The one at 10:31 is how we actually see it cause we are in it.

I genuinely believe astrology does work, but it also does not mean that astrology is the absolute truth and can be bypassed by following spiritual practices regularly. Most definitely an individual has to do his Karma regardless of how good his horoscope is or not. People don't understand that just like science it is also a field which has its own research and is not an easy field to understand or comprehend just like many scientific thing which a comman man cant understand. Its unfortunate that a huge section of the astrology community is filled with people who want to make financial gains and can be misleading if not strong with the basics or has not studied much. Definitely there are individuals who i personal have experienced have done some phenomenal readings but yes i believe we should just keep it at balance and not include astrology for everything or everyday and just go ahead with doing your day to day work. Nothing wrong about criticizing astrology but please read, understand the science properly and debate with renowned intellectuals in this field instead of not knowing anything and perceiving something to be false/fraud just by experiencing some scammsters and frauds in the society.

The good ones you wont find on them easily, you have search quite a bit. But you shouldn't become dependent and instead learn astrology by your self so you can keep it just as a reference point...

@@Adarsh_Negi there are many i cant specify. But go for a well rated Vedic astrology book by an Indian author. Lunarastro youtube channel is also good. Other than those its a skill that you have to learn and find a person who can teach you regarding it to better understand and experience through practice. I wont mention names as i can't verify their authenticity plus i know 2 people who are good but are not on the net and dont seek much attention unless someone asks them regarding it. Its better to learn basics on your own and experiment and learn if possible. There is nothing wrong if you dont follow astrology altogether as well, until and unless you live a disciplined and hardworking and stable mindset life.

The problem is of authenticity. Just because there are sham Astrologers out there doesn't mean that the entire field is sham. Try to think of it like this : If a research turns out to be bogus, do you come to the conclusion that the process of research itself is crap or that this particular instance may have had its flaws? Astrology, as I understand it, is relatively less generalized. That is to say, individual acumen plays a lot of role in terms of interpretation. This spirit is in line with that of ayurvedic approach which was also practiced in Vedic times. It is only as good as the guy practicing it. Whereas with western medicine, you could be an illiterate homeless junky or a Nobel Prize winner, Paracetamol given to me by any of you would work the same way. Our model of reality is heavily influenced by what we consider to constitute the definition of "sensible". What we're taught, what we study heavily influence this chain of command which we then label as true.
