First the cheating scandal had nothing to do with Altuve, All 5 individuals have went on record saying Altuve did not want nothing to do with it. Secondly, he went on to lead the Astros to 6 straight ALCS since 2017 bringing it to 7 straight ALCS, a AL record and trying to tie the MLB record by the braves with 8 consecutive LCS Appearances. He is a first ballot hall of famer and no amount of hate can erase his legacy

Altuve is guilty only bc of the team he played on. He told his teammates not to bang the can for him. He never wore a buzzer. The jersey crap happened in 2019, where they were cleared of if any and all accusations by MLB. It was made up and debunked ad nauseum by reporters. He is a good teammate and since his team cheated, he owned it with them. He will be a HOFer, but not first ballot bc the media plays favorites. If he wore pinstripes or red sox, he'd be unanimous. MLB has been dirty since it started. Astros were "behind the times" according to Carlos Beltran. It absolutely mistifies me that ppl can't even get their info right when arguing this... it's all out and publicly available. Dan even if a hitter knows a fastball is coming that doesn't mean the pitch will be right down the middle the pitch could be high, low , inside, or outside and the batter still has to put the bat on the ball to hit it

Hes a 1st ballot hall of famer in my books. Little guy is a .307 career hitter. But he also hits for power with many .900 ops seasons. He has the second most homeruns in baseball history and will very likely become 1st....that is a ticket to cooperstown in its self. He has a pennant clinching 3 run homerun agaisnt the yankees. Hes going to flirt with 3,000 hits when its all said and done As far as the "cheating scandal" watch a video made by a huge baseball channel called "baseball doesnt exsist" watch the video about altuve and that will enlighten you
