If he starts actively supporting his father then it would make sense to judge him based on that but we shouldn't judge him based on what he didn't choose.

Both men make some valid points. If the (not a) kid (anymore) starts playing the game, if he does or says things which are newsworthy, then sure, he's fair game. His brothers and sisters are all grown adults and active participants in the political game so of course they're going to be targets. Same is true for Hunter Biden, Chelsea Clinton, the Bush girls or whoever. If he wants to just go about his business and live his life, then leave him alone. His name is and always will be, Trump so there's always going to be baggage that comes with that but if he starts to get active in public matters, then he takes what comes. You can't willingly step into the octagon or onto a field of battle and expect not to get hit. That's just not the way things work.
