Thanks. I wouldn’t trust it, because the screen is big and the center of mass is away from the mount. But I’m imagining had off-road. For regular compressed dirt should be fine.

A magnet inside the mount of Carpuride that probably enables the gps mount of BMW to provide power.

I recently bought a Carpuride they constantly offer 30% off (moto30) discount. So at the moment it’s around 200€ for the w702b with bmw bracket. Honestly Chigee it’s too expensive even given the added features. Also the Chigee screen is too small, Carpuride maybe a bit too big and yea it covers the upper line on the BMW GS, a bit annoying.

For me CHIGEE is superior, quality and features. I prefer a quality product that will last than a cheap one that is going to probably fail sooner.

How practical and useful do you find chigee blind spot detection system while riding. Is it worth the extra money or we can skip it and get carpuride.

It works, not in very complex and fast situations, but it's not the major decider between the two. You can check the Innovv ThirdEYE Radar review for more details. CHIGEE also released a version without the cameras.

The Chigee seems the better of the two but it's also twice the price. The Chigee needs to have a dedicated sat nav built in so it doesn't rely on your phone, needs a radio built in and they need to make it removable. I'm sticking with my Nav 6 for now but will be seeing what they bring out on the next version of the Chigee.

Actually there is no comparison, the Chigee wins handsdown, quality wise but also but also usability wise, many more options and not a silly large screen. One thing in which the Caporide scores more points is the possibility to remove it from the bike and to use the BMW mount. But Chigee will be working on that as well I presume.

What kind of comparison is this? CHIGEE is far superior. It’s a complete system. Capuride is just a large tablet on your bike hence the price difference. It’s not even comparable

Wrong, once you have Apple CarPlay or Android auto running, you basically have the same screen in front of you. Sure Chigee is a more complete system, but it cost three times the price of Carpuride…

@@rockster72 I don’t want to argue. Lane assistance. Blind spot monitoring. TPMs. Live geolocating. Anti theft autorecord from and rear. Parking assistance. Crash auto detect front and rear . E.t.c outside of apple car play and android auto. What else does the capuride have at it’s affordable price? It’s just a tablet so it will have that same price. The CHIGEE display alone costs about the same. The complete system is what is three times the price. You lot should get that straight
