I think even though the bike looks dope he doesn't really need it.. the CB500X gives him enough power for Indian highways and is easier to manage due to its lighter weight..upgrading to the BMW doesn't make sense apart from vanity which I agree is the main driver on youtube social media

Hi, as a Multistrada user for four years, I can only suggest that this bike has all major electronic aids. The only challenge with these bikes are heat management in City traffic conditions. That becomes very painful. Also, please do take a 200 kms ride to see whether the ergonomics fit you. For long rides, it's very essential to get a feel of your knees, back, wrists and rhomboids response. All the best. You're doing great 👍🏼

I have read horror stories about Triumph service in India so beware of that. Otherwise Triumph makes brilliant machines. That said, The GSA 850 is much better choice than the Honda and Triumph owing to its electricals, accessories and VFM. It looks killer too though I am not a big fan of this colour. Wait till you try out the Versys 1000. The beauty and smoothness of an inline 4 is unbeatable and being a Japanese, it is much more reliable than any Brit or German. Its cheaper too! My choice would be the Versys 1000 for your riding style! Waiting for the video of your test ride!

I agreee on versys 1000 as it much much cheaper , most powerful , inline 4 , reliable , japenese , and mostly deep does road tours only. Also it takes so much experience , skill and physical strength to handle a 250kg bike off road. For offroading deep has cb500x which is more than enough. Also 90% of the most journies are on road only . And its not like versys cant handle a bit of offroading. @deepranjansachan

But to be honest , bmw f850a is so tempting. Electronic suspension + Quick shifter is something from a segment above it. Amazing value from such a reputed brand. But i have heard about heating issues quite a bit for bmw .

​@@rohanyadav9378 I agree but when it comes to engine refinement and smoothness, the Kawasaki and Honda are leagues ahead of BMW. The latter is smooth initially but turns crude after the honemoon period is over, somewhat like KTMs of the world.

A very detailed review Deep. Having owned this machine I am impressed how quickly you got hang of the suspension setting and also all the modes. Just one correction it’s a 23 litre tank. The triple black variant of this bike comes with a larger windshield. Kala matta was designed for off roading purpose but like you rightly said the top heavy nature is not favourable for off roading. Another reason why everyone fits the Wunderlich upper tank guard worth 35K - to protect against any fall! About the seat height you do get a lower seat but BMW charges 40K for that or you could do what I did - have the seat redesigned from your local seat guy. That costs 500 bucks 😊 Your review is absolutely on point and looking forward to your other reviews too. I know you aren’t considering Desert x but it would be interesting to see you test it out.

17:15 Even CB 500X can do those speeds very easily. But yes the features and those extra bits and pieces like TPMS, bi directional quick shifter, electronically adjustable rear suspension etc are definitely worth the price.

Please try to extract 100% off-roading capabilities from the CB500X before moving on to a bigger bike. Be sure to get comfortable with the following aspects: 1. weight of the bike during extreme cornering (drifting and gliding) 2. body movements during steering and counter steering 3.elbow movements during counter steering 4. Switch the abs off and master handling the front brake press and release If your intention is not to go hardcore proper off-roading, then please stay away from these big bikes. It'll be like having your hands on Mia Khalifa and not knowing how to extract 100% of what she has to offer. Been following your channel for a while now. Big up for your hard work mate. Not sure if you already are but do follow ARiemann1 if you're keen about big bikes & offroading

Deep ji I'm chandan from haldwani uttrakhand.recently 3 fab.2023 ko maine lutyens Motorrad delhi se 850 gs li hai.agar aapki height 5.10 se kum Hai to bahut problem hogi.gsa ki seat height to or jyada hai.maine lower seat lagayi 37000 mai tab bhi bura hal hai.mai 5.9 hu.headlight 3rd class hai.windshield small hai.wind blast bahut jyada hai.lekin engine bahut smooth hai or suspension to ultimate hai.

I bought a new 850gsa soon as tjey come out in the states, and even when I loved the bike on the road, it was top heavy and the front brake dive when braking was horrible. I went nack to a gs1200 that is way more balanced!

When I was switching my 1st bike I took lots and lots of test rides of 10+ bikes. When I rode Honda Hness it spoke to me. I don't know how to say but it was like I knew this is the bike that's going to be with me. And 2 months later I got the Honda Hness 2023 OBD2 model. Am loving it no doubt. Hello Deep - Thank you for sharing this video. 2 Questions- 1) Did you checked the 750GS model & why did you NOT consider it? And 2) Does this bike run on normal unleaded or premium fuel? Will you get premium fuel everywhere in India?

The F750GS is a road variant model and has 19 inch alloy rims over the 21inch spoke wheels on the F850GS/GS Adventure. And yes, they run on normal fuel.

Looking Smart Deep Bhai ❤️, but my personal view is like Indian roads are not built to unleash these 600+ cc bike potential. I think aapna Kaloo is great, maybe in future you can think to upgrade bike. If possible invest in intercontinental trips like there is Himalaya Base camp, Kazakhstan etc... Gsa is more top heavy. GS is LESS top heavy Even 1250 gsa is top heavy But 1250 GS is not TIGER 3 cyl is a leg roaster at slow speeds And tiger service is inferior to bmw. Africa twin with dct is superb but doesn't feel at one with rider in comparison with 1250gs But honda costing and service is better than bmw. Versys 650 can't off road well and the is low and often hits speed breakers Also suzuki service is hopeless. But suzuki product is better than kawasaki versy. I sincerely hope that u can squeeze in 1250gs. Its perfect for ur long tour needs

Though you are riding solo most of the time however consider pillion comfort as well for long rides.. its exhaust seems near the pillion seat.. there may heating issue for the pillion due to that kind of arrangement

Check the reliability and maintenance cost and long term ownership and part availability and distance to the service centre as well Plus you mention about service cost itll surely be higher than africa twin coz the parts manufactured ny BMW will not match the hondas reliability and i fell you'll have to frequently visit the service centre and long term maintenance will be higher than africa twin so check out the africa twin coz its a way more capable bike 15 to 20 lakhs is not a small amount for a bike so i hope you consider the africa twin over bmw and triumph I seriously feel you should go for the honda after tge test drive

I don't know why BMW opted to give such cheap brakes in an otherwise amazing machine. All the competitors are equipped with radially mounted calipers, but BMW opted for the cheaper option that we see in commuter bikes like pulsars and FZs. In isolation, the brakes are good, but on direct comparison radially mounted brakes provide much better feel and stopping power.

F900XR bhi try kar lo. It's a best all rounder if you don't have a pillion. Not an off roader but has good ground clearance to tackle kaccha roads.
