Silver prices are controlled by the big players (JP Morgan, citadel etc). Silver prices should be much higher than it is now. But they don't want that (check JP Morgan Silver price prediction for the future). But for Bitcoin, the people holding majority of Bitcoin are not selling since they want prices to go higher, so in the short term, Bitcoin will outperform silver. One side wants price to stay low while the other side wants to drive prices higher. But ofc I would not buy BTC at these prices. I will just hold onto what I own.

The FED also 'manipulates' gold price. They make sure it goes up by creating more $, and banks make sure there are even more paper contracts to make it lower, helping each other to balance it out. Only gold that has real value is physical gold. Asian part of the world value gold more then anything and they are the majority of people on this earth. And if you look at oil prices compared to gold it actually got cheaper as there still is lots of oil available. Best indicator if gold is worth something is the fact that central banks hoard it.

To answer your question on market setting the price of Bitcoin and gold. It would be true if we had true price discovery on gold and not artificial suppression of gold prices. Bitcoin has not felt that but gold being what it is is heavily manipulated. So that cannot be considered its true price.

I bet you've all been saying the same thing since Bitcoin hit $20k, then said you were right when it smacked down to $3k and now its $50k the salt is even stronger, while precious metals hasn't moved 🤣 the 70% drops and 500% gains are just normal for Bitcoin. I also hold gold and silver, would like to see them do well, but we live in a technology world, no one wants to carry metal around with them! If I'm in a shop, I can log into the exchange, sell some crypto and instantly spend it on my card. thats if the shop doesn't accept BTC directly. No its not but all crypto will loose its definition as a currency when you will have NO choice but to cash out of anything into a world blockchain digital dollor. Whats that mean?? It means ALL of them will eventually loose there value and most will disappear. The only ones that will survive will be used as "shares" for a real company or service. The stock market will end up on the block chain and " coins" will be interchangeable with "shares". Since you wont be able to purchase without the " one world government monetary blockchain dollor ", nothing else will be aloud as legal tender. Bitcoin will eventually loose its value and level out. Once it looses all volatility and stops moving up or down for that matter people will loose interest. They will look for something else to put there world government dollors to work

It can be melted down used, re-used, etc. what can you use Bitcoin for other than a currency? Currency and money share many of the same properties, but are much different. gold and silver are manipulated through their paper equivalents such as bonds, certificates, derivatives and naked short selling. it can also easily be confiscated by govts ie usa 1930s. gold has an inflation rate of 2% per year through mining new gold, silver has even higher rate so all you pre historic investors good luck with that one.

There's a lot of falsehoods in that video. I've been involved with Bitcoin since 2012 when it often had the charge asserted that it was a Ponzi scheme. Back then it was not but the current Bitcoin (the BTC version) has evolved into one. Bitcoin's original vision was to become a currency for the Internet. It was envisioned to replace debit and credit cards, remittance services and to replace even a person's bank account. Per transaction fees back then were less than a penny (today they are at their second highest historical rate around $20). It had value because of its utility. A merchant could cut their transaction costs from 3.5% and $0.35 (typical of credit cards) to less than a penny along with reducing the fraud risk and chargeback risks to zero. The original bitcoin (BTC) had a configuration limiting the number of transactions that could be processed. It was an arbitrary limit that never was reached in its first 7 years but as usage grew it required a correction. There erupted a lot of division within the bitcoin community resulting in what is known as a "fork" which created a duplicate of Bitcoin which came to be known as Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Bitcoin made only some minor corrections to the arbitrary limit (which is why the per transaction fees are so high and there is no cap). Bitcoin Cash, on the other hand, corrected the arbitrary limit and is capable of handing far more numerous levels and at rates of under a penny per transaction. Bitcoin (BTC) became a Ponzi when it lost its functionality and utility as a payment system which left its only use case being a speculative, unproven "store of value" and "gold 2.0). BTC is no longer a currency and is no longer the product that its founder Satoshi Nakamoto described. BCH, on the other hand, continued with the same software, corrected the problem and also has all the other use cases mentioned in addition to the store of value proposition. A major part of BTC's price appreciation is it is operating on the brand that was developed as a crypto currency and the public is largely ignorant that BTC no longer operates as a currency (unless you are buying expensive items). Time will tell whether or not it still works as solely a store of value. Historically it has always had big price swings and there will most likely be a price correction in the future. We will find out then how high the transaction fees can go when many start running for the exits at the same time and drive the transaction fees up in the process. And when that happens and people ask "why" then they might find out why there is a BTC, a BCH and also a BSV.

In a traditional ponzi scheme, the scammer takes a well calculated cut that doesn't damage the scheme. With Bitcoin - miners and exchanges take the cut. In both situations value can't be sustained or pushed forward forever because the value is taken out considerably. In a traditional ponzi scheme when a bust comes it's game over, but with bitcoin the global multi-billion dollar mining and exchange businesses that depend on bitcoin's existence can easily take hundreds of billions of dollars loans and pump the value all over again. The bust for bitcoin will happen when banks will refuse to give loans to miners and exchanges for pumping purposes.

most valuable lesson I learned in any college class, (value = price that buyer and seller agree on). Anything can have any value if there is a buyer an seller in agreement. So then the question is not, does it have value, but how long will people value it? No one can really answer that. However, the attributes of freedom, deregulation, and transparency have a lot of support in these times. My guess is that these will be seen as valuable characteristics for the forseable future.
