Blackpool must be one of the grounds I’ve visited most, other than the Yorkshire clubs. First few times I went was before the redevelopment began and the old place was in a sorry state. Stood on the open away end under the dull floodlights, only the main stand and behind the opposite goal in use, it was sad to think what a club they had been in the Mathews era, and how far they’d fallen.

Nothing wrong with reliving your youth. Bet you were laughing your head off. 😂 Well done to everyone involved with the Armfield club. Looks amazing & I think it is good that it is separate from the football club, but it is still a big part for the supporters. The creators of it are good people. There's a lot to Blackpool, but it's good to focus on the football side of things, which is what the locals actually like to do. It's a really good vlog yet again Lee.

It’s a cracking away day isn’t it so much to do and see before the footie and with the armfield club that’s a proper footie bonus for me. Sid will fill you in with the story today he’s happy at the result but missed the game.

Living by the seaside myself I sat here watching and once I heard the seagulls in the background it brought a smile to my face. Then again, I really dislike them waking me up early in the morning haha.

I was up there that weekend and was gonna go to that game and I was in the Armfield before and after the game not sure if I saw you in there. I used live at the back of the away stand sadly my old home is getting knocked down soon. I worked on trams old and new then Pleasure and finally Tower before moving back home. Still regularly visit Blackpool when I can and Blackpool FC are one of my second teams always a home away from home

@@aroundthegrounds1 Yeah good and bad memories. Was sometimes horrible getting the verbal with my garden at the back of the away end. But, overall good memories and Blackpool are one of my second/adopted teams. Have to let me know when you're up there again and I'll book up for the weekend or something and I'll happily talk about my ties with the place 👍
