Gotta say, with how the media has portrayed Johnny over the last decade, I did not expect him to be so self-aware. Incredible awareness about himself, his playing career, and other aspects. I hadn’t watched you at all on podcasts Johnny but kudos, very solid commentary and perspective.

perfect landing spot for Bo Nix is Denver i see him as a Drew Breese type ex Sean peyton qb

Except he’s not going to be anywhere near as good and more likely to be a another bust for the broncos

I initially was very angry at the Bo Nix pick. After some reflection, I’m not sure how to feel but I’m praying the accuracy translates to the league

He'll be fine. Don't forget the Broncos will have a nasty power running game, and are in very good shape if they just have a great defensive draft and free agency next year.

Appreciate y'all giving him the credit he deserves for his historical accomplishments in college especially considering the elite competition he's faced. Went to and completed for Oregon State (GO BEAVS!), but gotta admit I cheer for the type of player and person he is. Go Bo & hope Nix fixes the Broncos! P.S. Love your channel Kurt & you've got the best Madden analysis. Glad Johnny is back and better too.

One of his interceptions came from a player coming back onto the field. The production and his progression through his years; I think show intelligence, athleticism and growth.

Johnny is a pretty good analyst, and talk about humility when addressing the Winston and Mariota draft. I’ve followed Bo since his days at Pinson High School, in Alabama. If you could erase Auburn off of his resume, leaving only Oregon Bo, he might be a top 3 pick. Regardless of how great he played at Oregon, scouts were never going to forget about Auburn. Auburn was not a good fit for Bo. He had a different OC every year he was there, and didn’t receive much in the way of development coaching, until he arrived at Oregon. Bo Nix will be the best NFL qb in this draft. Sorry, Caleb Williams is NOT generational! I watched every single game in the last 2 years that Michael Penix Jr played at Washington. He was so hot and cold it was unreal. He would over and under throw wide open receivers, or put the ball right into the hands of a defender. I literally watched him flop on 7 out of 10 throws, then throw 3 absolute dimes, to win the game. That won’t work in the NFL! Jayden Daniels can scramble, after the pocket breaks down. So many things he did seemed to be out of necessity but not so much by design. That doesn’t really work well in the NFL either. JJ, I was never really sold on. IMO, he was probably the 5th best player wearing a Michigan jersey last year. I believe that Bo is probably the best QB in this draft. He just has that Auburn stain on his back. Sean Payton sees this too, and doesn’t have much respect for what the draft evaluators say. He will make his own evaluation, and based off of that evaluation, Bo Nix was always his guy! He would have taken him where ever he could, 1st, 5th, or 12th, he didn’t care, so long as he got him. For his system, Bo was the best qb, from the second the clock started!

Nix hit his ceiling with a loaded ducks team. He’s probably going to be at best an avg qb/ good backup

Please Minnesota let him fall to us at 11 and go defense or IOL at 23🤞🏽🤞🏽

It still blows my mind that people watched JJ McCarthy/Bo Nix/Penix last year and people say JJ is better than either one of them. Insane to me. They are both so much better than JJ. JJ is inaccurate, zero touch, rarely hits the receiver in the right spot. Penix and Nix are the exact opposite. I think Nix/Penix will have way better careers, even though JJ went to the best situation out of any of the QB’s besides maybe Williams.

You guys wanna grow your channel? Here's an idea no one else has the balls to touch. A split-screen video showing what everyone sees about Caleb's college play with Fields on the other side doing everything he does & at the same tier or level only successfully in the NFL. After all, the footage of Fields doing everything Caleb does in the NFL exists. 1) Flinging the ball 50+ air yards with a flick of the wrist? Check. 2 a&b) At weird arm angles, on the run? Check-check. 3) Hitting receivers in stride? You know it. Putting touch on the ball on shorter throws that land right where the receiver is supposed to be on anticipation routes? Mm-hmm. About the one area I'd give the edge to Fields is simply that I haven't seen footage of Caleb threading passes between the out-stretched arms of defenders à la Dan Marino. Fields did this in '21 before plays likely to lead to that stopped being called by them. This'll p.o. a *lot* of blowhards passing themselves off as analysts. & if you express positive interest in this, I'll paste a link to the Ultimate Kicker in all of this. I mean you *alreay **_KNOW_* what most people are gonna want to write in the comments, right? "He can't read defenses." The link will be the Ultimate punch in the mouth to all the haters. People will lose faith in other analysis channels, you'll gain subscribers. So... Interested?

The biggest. Remember the a holes who say Caleb is all world. Said that about Johnny manzel, baker Mayfield, Bryce, Justin fields. And all the other BUST first picks. Scouting college is like scouting soccer. 2 different sports.
