Is Boracay the NEW Filipino PARADISE? 🇵🇭 Our parents FIRST REACTIONS to the Philippines!

Boracay has been a treat! And now we are starting to see why this is new FILIPINO PARADISE! Boracay closed a few years ago due to over tourism and severe damage to the environment but after 6 months of rehabilitation - the new Boracay is pure paradise! Since Dev’s parents are with us we take them on the ultimate adventure day! Things they said have been high on their BUCKET LIST!
We wake up bright and early for a morning paddle board and kayak session before heading off to do some island hopping around the island - stopping at Puka beach and crocodile island for snorkelling - Shev was super excited to see Nemo!
We head back to the mainland for lunch, have some of the best burgers ever before heading out for a sunset sail on a paraw boat! This was definitely the highlight of the trip for sure! Dev’s dad even had a go at driving the boat!

The wonderful thing is that your personable essence and excitement radiate off the screen in ALL your videos! LOL. If I may kindly suggest, the proper way to say "Boracay" is to put the accent on the second syllable (Bo-RAH'-cay). The Filipino dish, "palabok" is also accented the same way (pa-LAH'-bok). If it helps, the syllable placement is the same with words such as De-CEM'-ber, No-VEM'-ber, a-QUA'-rium, de-LIGHT'-ful; un-CER'-tain, "e-LEC'-tric, etc. Enjoy and have more good times ahead!

Please continue your journey around the closest vicinity of Boracay which are Tablas island, Romblon, Sibuyan, Masbate and even the island of Iloilo. Visit Guimaras too which is not really far from there where you could try the best and the sweetest Mango in the world. Trust me!

Very nice, once again a lot of wow moments. What made more special was being with the parents. Philippines have 7,640 islands and most are open now. If you like surfing go to Sirgao, the surfing capital of the Philippines, they need tourists there after the devastating typhoon, they are trying to recover. Also voted one of the top Island in the world sometimes beating Boracay. Conde Nast 2019 best Island in the world: Sirgao.

I did hear that Boracay was closed for a time but luckily I went in March 2020 when COVID started to happen big time even though I did book the holiday 6 months in advance (and no COVID). It was supposed to be 2 weeks but was cut short to 6 days - however I did manage the see most of the island in that short space of time before I decided to pack my bags and head home back to the UK before I get lockdown on the island
