@@skeepodoop5197 True, but considering the Character Developpement that Dedede got during the Game, he knew about Nightmare in Adventure/Nightmare in Dream Land, and broke the star rod not to cause trouble, but to prevent damage. and don't forget that he's powerful, as he's been possesed and controlled 3 times by Dark Matter, and 1 time by Taranza because of a misunderstanding because Taranza thought that Dedede is the Hero of Dream Land.

Here's a part 2 I have in mind Ganondorf: now let's compare Bowser to the rest of us in terms of evilness Ridley: I've committed genocide for fun and killed Samus's parents and even sadistically tormented her about it. I've conquered Hyrule several times and my rule has at most lasted 100 years, killed the hero of time, and I've committed massacres in several lifetimes. While Bowser is definitely one of the least evil Villain characters in Smash, I think he’s fine. The guy has conquered galaxies, terrorized kingdoms, and is the one who instigated most conflicts Mario games whether it be as petty as ruining parties or as major as stealing the Star rod. Plus, why is Dark Pit even on the council? He’s more of an antihero/rival if you ask me.

Burn moment, only reason why Bowser is going to Mario’s parties is they tolerate him than having to hurt’em. Or Mario just let him come over because Mario’s cool.... or just ask him to behave himself when invited to parties/celebrations. He is. He kidnapped not just Peach, but the Sprixie princesses. He also took over the Luma galaxy twice, framed Mario with the help of his son, stole an old game system with Eggman during the Olympics, and became something even more dark than Nightmare Moon after 3D World. But you know he can't be doing much evil since he's a father. DEAL WITH THAT! MY BOWSER IS STILL A VILLAIN! And I love him.

Bowser is a war criminal. He’s attempted to annex the mushroom kingdom in his name numerous times. He’s forced the goombas to work as henchmen for the Koopa Kingdom. Bowser may not be a universal threat like Sephiroth, but he’s, at minimal, a dictator.
