Anyone that tells you to fight for a purse or wallet against a weapon does not know what they're talking about. Self defense is giving up what ever they want.

I agree that I would not challenge a person with a weapon when i am unarmed who is just trying to steal something of monetary value. However there are some things I am willing to risk my life for against difficult odds and my family for sure is one thing.
