I hope to grow to twenty by the end of the year but it depends on AXS prices, which I still need to buy for breeding new teams. I’m reluctant to dump a bunch more outside cash into the game so I’m trying to use only earned SLP to breed and trade for AXS. That’s slowing me down I guess.

Great analysis! You made calculations with average price as results, but I would add calculations for a "bad" luck results and a "good" luck results, so apart from seen what you probably would get, you can have a clear view of the risks you are taking anyway. There are some cases where if one D gen is not inherited , the axie is ruined (axies with specific combo) and its good to be aware of how much you will lose if that's the case.

Thanks for making this video. As of right now my breeding of Axies is on a temporary hold. Unless they change the cost of breeding from 1 to .5 AXS total it is just not worth it for now. It was nice while it lasted.

@@latem777 negative, it could be 100% and have bad genes in R1 or R2, could be D serious and double silence whisper in mouth for example. Can be 100% but bad for breeding effectively

@@Web3Wesley Well the thing is people confuse good purity with good genes, I can tell you know the difference of course but many people don't know even what that means, I would suggest you instuct people to use a breeding simulation tool to appreciate the difference. I'm very picky like that when I'm breeding just to make sure I can rely on the offspring as much as possible. It's never perfect but for example, sometimes I try to breed with bad genes crossed, so if I have 2 mutations I don't like in mouth and back (let say in R2) I look for an axie that has the issues on the tail's and horn's R2s, if that makes sense. Regarless you are doing an amazing job, thank you for your content, people like you are the ones really pushing the community forward. 🙏🙏🙏

@@ErrolBeats 3 Axie or 4 Axie infinite loop is usually called ABC or ABCD breeding. 3ABC is cheaper to get started but slower to build Axie Teams. 4ABCD is more expensive and faster. Start with whichever you can afford.

Makes sense to breed more than 3 if you got a chance at a profitable recessive gene coming up in the offspring. If your chance is 10% per child, you want to increase that as much as possible

I don’t breed for profit. I use the slp from scholars to breed and I have pools so I can scale, I do about 9 breeds and average 2-3 scholars a month. Stoked for what’s ahead for axie infinity

Ive got a question about recessive genes. Say you have two parents. Both plants with Yam. One parent has Yam 3x, while the other parent has Yam as the dominant and Hot Butt as the recessive 1 gene. I understand that the offspring will have a 9.375% chance of having Hot Butt be the dominant gene. But assuming the dominant gene stays Yam, what are the probably outcomes for the recessive genes? What are the chances Hot Butt is either an R1 or R2 gene? What about Yam being R1 or R2? Does anyone know how this is calculated?

Land items can speed up breeding time. Stacking these might allow a 24 hour breed time or less - Then you could snipe breed or breed to order - also using Bowie's Bot... when the game really takes off

Hard to say both axie prices and AXS prices could go up or down. Staking rewards are quiet high at the moment, so might be worth staking for a couple weeks and then see what the breeding market looks like. Definitely stake it while you do research and make your decision.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, or misreading your figures, the Axie selling prices in your spreadsheet seem very over-optimistic to me. I'm struggling to get 0.05 WETH per Axie and the Marketplace activity seems very slow. Been trying to sell 4 Axies for about 2 weeks and keep dropping the price every 2 days.

You can sell some Axie’s right now for 0.3/.4 ETH, it varies drastically on what you are breeding and the market conditions. Prices are constantly going up and down as well. That’s why everyone needs to adjust the sheet based on what the market prices are for the particular Axie’s they want to breed.

Hi Neil, I guess it depends a lot on your goals. I have a scholarship program so that is where many of my axies go. I would probably suggest a mix of selling a few and holding a few. If you can come up with a strategy that gets your initial investment back or a lot of it and then lets you keep some axies that is usually what I recommend people aim for.

To scollas.. And ure stratagy I saved it will save me and my 10year old slot of time on excel as its her little project and helps with dna sequences ect when searching.. 1 final point please we have double talk blackmail postfight and say egg, I hear doubletalk may be downgraded any advice on new cards to pick to be ahead of the market.. Hey Neil, just saw this now. It is hard to predict what will happen with future cards unfortunately. The team has hinted at a few changes, but even these are subject to change. I think a lot of people feel doubletalk is too powerful, but my hopes are that if the team nerfs it, they will not do anything drastic. But we really just have to wait and see.

1. You can do three all the same. Or you could do two the same for breeding with 0 breeds and a 3rd cheaper axie with breeds already on it. For example a plant double aqua team, buy the two aquas with 0 breeds. 2. I have some videos on this. You can also check out axie zone, they have a card tier list, but I don't always agree with it

( in a scenario where the value of the axie doesnt change because of meta or something ) do the axie prices stay at a fixed ETH ammount when eth goes up or down? for example if an Axie costs 0.1 ETH and ETH price skyrockets and doubles will that Axie still be on 0.1 ETH(so it doubled in $) or will its price in eth drop to match the $ price and go 0.05 eth?

It goes up with ETH. So it will stay at .1. But here is the thing, are people going to be paying .1 when ETH is 30,000 ? So right now that’s $350 at 35K that’s 3,500… so that’s the really question. Since it’s crypto and the majority of people will be apeing in when (if) SLP hits $1 and some people are sitting on 30 ETH what is .1 to them. Yeah, people might still pay that .1 ETH or 3,500 in hopes of making $$$ and it’s crypto and they probably are already sitting on the ETH.

No! The axie will reflect fiat amount. So if you paid $350 when eth was at $3500 and then eth shot up the next day to $7000 and stayed there forever then your axie will be worth .05 eth. Of course there are many factors that go into price but I believe this is the scenario you were mentioning.

Hey, if you have a large investment I definitely recommend a hardware wallet. Trezor is really well integrated with axie infinity, but if you do other stuff in crypto Legder is a great choice too.
