@@vikinflames it's different because it isn't processed nor industrialized, you're eating the fruit not the sugar

​@@larkilanders you're still eating sugar does change from source. Chemically it's the same as juicing and apple and then boiling the juice until it turns into s slurry, let that dry and you have pure fructose.

Doctor, I have a question please! For non-diabetics who want to avoid the risk of developing diabetes, is the lower your daily glycemic load, the better? I thought so but someone online told me that if you don't have diabetes, it's best to keep your daily glycemic load between 85 and 100, and that going too low actually increases your risk. I've been avoiding most medium to high GI foods, and reach a daily load of 65-70 , am I overdoing it?

Sugar is sugar, the difference may include trace amount of salt minerals and vitamins but the amounts are so small it doesn't matter.

Doctor, is xilitol good? I dont have diabetes but i have acne, and ive been trying to cut out sugar and stick to a low-medium gi. However, i have been having a hard time doing so and I read that xilitol is the least worse (?) sweetener and that it may even have a good effect, but im not sure.

Interesting 🤔 so brown sugar is not healthy. My whole life has been a lie. I love how he parallels this with finance. Great teaching strategy

I never had the chance to teach college students, the only teaching I ever get to do is when I conduct Lifestyle as Medicine workshops for adults in the community, but most people would tell me I am more a preacher than a teacher! Thanks for the encouraging words, I needed it, much appreciated. By the way, I usually consciously avoid reading comments in my videos in order to protect my mental and avoid being discouraged by hate comments from continuing to make videos.
