It is not just him though as many people not just idols suffer from depression and other mental health issues due to the stressful and high competitive society in Korea. I have seen people interviewing regular citizens in Korea and many of them have said that they would like to live abroad as the life in Korea is just too stressful and competitive. There is good and bad to living anywhere, but I can see that many just cannot keep up with the stressful and competitive nature of the society. I remember my Korean friend telling me how she loved living in the US when she studied abroad but had to go back to Korea as she did not want to be away from her family. However, if her family were all in the US then she would rather stay in the US.

Taehyung said before that he wants to go back to the old days. Indeed. I'm an army since 2015, but everything was very exquisite back then, they have a peace of mind, no shipping, they're just in South Korea performing their songs! Since the fan base grow up, they rarely smiles or inter-acting on ther others because of shipping and also back then seeing performing them in K-stage They're genuine happy. The fan wars is not existing that time. That is why I can't blame V if why he wants to go back to the old days. They deserve the recognition that they're receiving right now, but the more they became popular the more they need to be perfect in front of the audience, and the amount of pressure that they're experiencing right now is very huge ! I don’t think that we really have to worry. Yes he is more serious than before but don’t you think it’s because he grew up ? He is a man now, not a teenager anymore. However, I don’t think that his personality really changed neither. In Bon Voyage 4 I can tell you that he wasn’t that different from the past. He still smile a lot, joke around and all this kind of stuff but I noticed that he is more like that when he is with the members and he probably try to keep a certain image on award shows or interviews. It’s true that during December he appeared to be very down and we can’t know exactly why but remember he received a lot of hate during this period but right know he seems to be okay. Maybe he is a little tired or stressed because of the promotion like all the members actually, but I don’t think it’s necessary to worry to much. Please Army, don’t say things like "he changed” or “he is not the same anymore” ‘cause I think it could really hurt his feelings. Just keep loving and support him. well i guess the incident where he told why he was upset lately in the past and it turn out someone lately in his circle of life pass away such as his grandma. I think He just got matured. And got even more handsome...💜 Yeah he mustve gone some challenged maybe in 2018, but those things cahnged him into becoming more like a grown up man now. We, (at 24 above) all have gone through those stages..

I noticed that Suga seemed to be happier and smiled/laughed more when he was younger, too. The best way we can show our love and support for our idols is to give them some space/privacy, especially when they travel.
