Jhansi is my hometown, and I'm very happy to see the progress my small city has made in 5 years. Actually jhansi city is very small, but the rural areas attached to its outskirts made it one of the largest district of Bundelkhand. Jhansi has one of the best transport connectivity both rail and road. Rail- every other southern railway train halt at jhansi to reach delhi. It is well connected to every state and jhansi is one of the busiest station on UP. It is also one of HQ of NCR (north central rly) Road- with new highways, it is becoming stringer than ever. Jhansi is also the conjunction point of two biggest highways of India i e east-west corridor and North-south corridor. We have PSU such as BDL, BHEL, and 5,6 powerplant. Betwa river as main source of water. History of jhansi is one thing most of us have known. With bundelas of orchhas, peshwas of maratha, laxmi bai, Alha-Udal veer kings are some of the historical significant figures from Bundelkhand.

I do agree with the point that Jhansi is well connected to Major cities in India via Roadways and Railways Infact, The Rani Lakshmibai Railway Station is among the Busiest and Oldest railway stations of India Also, Jhansi is a historic city so lot of tourism is also there.
