Pantheon seems like a really cool and original ride... I fear it's going to get buried with all the Covid stuff and then all the field of "record breakers" that are coming out this year (if they get the gates open this year)... But out of all the cool stuff out there... be it Iron Gwazi, Orion, or even Jersey Devil.... I feel like Pantheon is still the most original of the 2020 additions... aside from maybe the whole "Axis" coaster... which we still don't even know what if any park is going to build one any time soon.

I agree, let's stay positive and support the parks. And give them grace as we move forward. My local waterpark opened last Saturday, and there were a couple attractions that weren't open. I did not complain. All I did was praise them for opening the park, and I was grateful for whatever was open. Some supplies that they had ordered had still not come in yet because of the virus, so they could also be waiting on parts for those closed attractions. We should give the parks grace in those regards, and have understanding for any delays or closed attractions when they reopen.

Iron Gwazi was entirely completed and was cleared for soft opening the same day the park announced closure due to COVID. There's no construction to be done. The ride was supposed to open March 20th, there was literally a billboard that went up in Tampa saying "Iron Gwazi now open" that day.

Ending was fire. Love the intro too. I just don’t know what to think about this virus and opening everything back up. I just hope whatever they decide everyone stays safe. I canceled my cedar point trip for June 15th so I’m bummed either way......anyway I Don’t know if it’s the way you edit your videos and the music you pick/use or your passion talking about coasters but it’s inspiring. I get it if the park wants to try to prevent huge crowds by delaying the opening, but I think that they will probably just open Iron Gwazi on like a random Wednesday in July or something. That’s my prediction.

I think Iron Gwazi should open on June 18, because that’s the day the original ride opened, and it would be cool to do it on the same day, since we are getting closer to it!

After learning the Florida parks were reopening, I was ecstatic in thinking that Iron Gwazi just might be the first ‘new’ coaster I get to ride for 2020 right when BGT reopens. Sucks having cold water thrown on that possibility, but you’re right, there will be some delay. And frankly, Iron Gwazi’s reveal to the world deserves better than a park with its capacity significantly limited and everyone looking like they’re surgeons and/or ready to rob a bank

No park in their right mind would open two coasters in one year unless it was a racing coaster. Expect the "Drachen Spire" project to be pushed back as well.

Iron Gwazi will most likely be open by the middle to end of June. It was testing already, there is now way they will keep it closed if they open in the beginning of June and need all the help possible to pull hesitant people through the turnstiles.

I feel like if BGW opens towards the end of the month, Pantheon will open at the end of August. It’ll be a short run for opening year, but any progress is good! I can’t wait to ride coasters again😭

If Pantheon does open this year my guess is that it won't open until late July or August, but I wouldn't be surprised if they push it to 2021. From what I understand there is still plenty of work left. Iron Gwazi on the other hand can easily open this year. The ride is pretty much ready and BGT is open year round.

I'm hoping BGT opens Iron Gwazi this year. I used to go to cedar point all the time up until 3 years ago when I moved to Florida. Unfortunately I am still a RMC virgin since Steel Vengeance was created after I left. Was super stoked about the project and hopefully will still be my first RMC experience.

Given how close Iron Gwazi was to opening before the park closed, I think it will open this year for sure - whether that be late summer, fall, or even winter. But I can easily see Pantheon getting delayed to 2021.

Obviously we heard about reopening June 10th, so I think that’s a big plus, cuz those statements were made before this date was set. Still, being open all year, iron gwazi is still more likely to open soon. Just my thoughts

You ask me, Busch Gardens (and the other SeaWorld parks) are going to want their new stuff (Pantheon, Iron Gwazi, Emperor, even Ice Breaker) open asap. They aren't Disney or Universal, and they know it. While the general populace may be more willing to risk going to the popular parks, the less significant places are going to need something big to convince them that the (unfortunately very present) risk is worth it. However, the optimal time will be hard to say, especially as it is different for every park. They'll want to open them at a time where it won't cause an uncontrollable flood, but it will still heavily improve attendance.

As sad as it would be, it probably would be better to delay until 2021. The 2020 season will be a very different season from past ones, meaning that even if we have to way, the experience will be probably be much better come 2021. The biggest question I have is what parks will actually open for the 2020 season. I know a few are planning on opening, but bigger parks in highly populated areas will have a harder time reopening this year I would imagine. I guess it's all just waiting to see at this point.

I think that you would really excel at it considering how big a part of your style is about storytelling anyway... I just think you'd do a great job at it. My gut feeling is BGW may try to open at a strictly limited capacity and with new social distancing safety practices sometime around July or August. However, (and I'm not trying to be negative - just realistic) I have a feeling that a second and more severe second wave of the outbreak will leave them no choice but to close again by the fall if not sooner. I wouldn't count on Howl-O Scream happening if it is even able to be open in September. Hopefully, 2021 will bring us a vaccine and an opportunity to ride Pantheon and enjoy our parks again.

I think this is the most realistic possibility. Gwazi will probably see some king of delay and the BGW park will probably open after BGT and still not finished with construction. I think Pantheon would be the first of them all to get a 2021 date if any do

I’d be surprised if they pushed them out. They need the influx of people and hype now more than ever. It’ll have a bigger effect in a season now than a future season. I imagine capacity will be increased over the first month and they’d open them up. Hurts too much leaving an investment sitting unused like that.

I kind of think Iron Gwazi is ready to go but wont be open until the park is allowed back open for full capacity.They didn't spend millions to have it open with a whimper. Theyre gonna wanna make a spectacle out of it and thin crowds aren't what they want. So they'll save operating costs on it until they can open the park fully. Pantheon still needs work so I expect that to open when it's ready assuming its a couple months away after the parks are reopened. Maybe it'll be a Halloween type opening.

I hate to say this, but Iron Gwazi should just wait until next year. The coaster might be ready right now, but most of the general public isn’t ready to come back to parks yet, ESPECIALLY with all of the special rules in place. If they wait until next year, they’d get more people coming out to ride. This goes for Iron Gwazi and Pantheon

I think Iron Gwazi will open since it was technically close to opening anyway but it will be interesting as this was a huge draw attraction from around the world and that is just gone . Sea world was testing rides with masks I think for their submitted plan to reopen but I bet they will sure post a true grand opening next year .

As much as I don’t want them to get delayed I feel like they might. These rides were designed to draw huge record breaking crowds and that is not possible right now. It might be better off waiting for them to get the big crowds and huge profits.

I think they've gone too far in the construction process that they won't do that. I believe it's safe enough to continue with building the projects and I don't think they'll want visitors to be disappointed to come to the parks only to not have the opportunity to experience their new rides. It's obvious the company may have to deal with setbacks as a result of what's going on right now and I think the only thing that might get postponed will be the new Sesame Place that is supposed to replace Aquatica San Diego in 2021. I bet that could be pushed back into 2022 instead.

Gwazi is ready finished tests and will be open on opening day. Only thing is with the reduced capacity and the hype for it they expect not everyone will get to ride, they may decide to cash in and not include gwazi in general admission and up charge to ride it for 1st few Weeks. Think it is ice breaker that is the least likely to open as the Orlando park is the one that relies on foreign tourists most and there aren't going to many at all this year.
