Soy de Argentina y la única razón por la que fui a Cali y Medellín fue por un amigo y esposa que me la recomendaron, pero otra cosa cuando estuve allá. No veo la hora para volver, el calor humano y hospitalidad de los colombianos es única. Estuve 13 días y me siento más inseguro en Buenos Aires

pero como se te ocurre si en buenos aires las mujeres andan solas de noche. en cali ni loco una mujer puede salir caminando a las 11 de la noche . aqui en cali se anda en carro de punto A a punto B. verdaderamente la gente le gusta desinformar...

@@cxwest2114 pues te informo que yo soy uno d elos que digo que Cali es insegura pero por zonas es decir si te metes a barrios que han sido invasión por lo general, y el tema de la mujeres, pues aquí andan solas y en grupos hasta las 5 am o el otro días y no hay problema, no se si sos de Cali, pero aquí el peligro no es por genero sino por zona.

I have lived in Cali for 5 years and never had any problem. In fact I have been all over Colombia and never had any issues. I feel a lot safer than I did in the U.S. where everybody has easy access to a gun!

it is very funny how out of fear I do not enjoy the trip at all, I recommend you to the next visit, do it with an acquaintance who already knows the city so you will not be afraid and you can enjoy Cali

Soy colombiano peligro hay en todas las ciudades si vas a un lugar simplemente cuidi tus cosas y no le prestes atencion aquien consideren qué genera desconfianza el peligro esque llegue una moto con 2 personas y te roben o en la calle a altas horas de la noche en las calles no es recomendable pero aca no te van a secuestrar ni nada grabe ok

I was born and raised in Cali and let me tell you, as a girl NEVER walk alone especially in the night and in more quiet areas or downtown, also always leave your phone at home or in your bag so it is not visible so that people feel tempted to try and steal. Also remember, if someone puts a gvn to your head and asks for something don’t try to argue because you could be playing between life and d3ath. It is an amazing place to be but don’t forget how it’s not always the safest!

@Kalaspammm Well, I'm sitting on a plane now in Cali heading back to Miami. I can report that I had an amazing time. Not one negative encounter with anyone. I was primarily in Jardin the entire time, but I spent one day in San Antonio. Police, military, and private security were EVERYWHERE. I kept my head on a swivel. I also noticed many people doing the very things I was told not to do. Phones and laptops sitting on table. Walking to with face buried in phones or with phones in hand. The only bad thing I can say is that the traffic is beyond horrible.

hey sorry but I didn't find this vlog very helpful for what to do in Cali. No traval tips or very interesting destinations in the city. mostly just hotel food and a couple of resturants (which are nice but not really interesting.)

Cali is a vibrant city and while true, it can be dangerous as F.... if you dont actually look at it, you might as well have never have been there. (YT bonus points aside)
