“The people” will willingly sell to the whales at a certain price, because most people are dumb and as soon as they encounter large amounts of money in their possession they all of a sudden think very short term. Whales see the bigger picture. Hold assets, especially scarce ones, and don’t let them go. That rule applies most to the one perfectly scarce asset in existence. Borrow against it if you must. But don’t sell. Unfortunately “the people” don’t understand this.
