I agree with you on the point about making a joyful noise, all you lands (Psalm 100). However, as someone who enjoys Christian rap, I have some issues with some Christian rap. I agree with the statement that music was created to bring glory and joy to God, so yes rap can do that. But does Christian rap lead to being unequally yoked with worldly rap? "Bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33). (And yes, this would be true with other forms of music (pop, rock, etc.) can corrupt good character too. ) That is my question. Is it an automatic no? I don’t think so. But having discernment and testing the spirit that comes from it is key. Thanks for sharing the good news. Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Rap is a good way to lead people to Christ, but I will revere God in the lovely essence of Gospel and Worship music because rapping to God sounds like we are mad at him. Not every Christian rapper delivers the same. We won't have rap music in heaven, that's for sure.(Unless it sounds like Toby James rapping😆) So just make sure you use it to lure away from secular and not as a replacement for secular because there must be order and control in our bodies. God is the ultimate source to stay away from temptation.

I was baptized into Christ November of last year… I’m gonna try to make this short and hopefully you see this and give you some tools to study more on this topic on your own. First off your title is “Christian Rap” and the only scripture you reference as justification for instruments in worship is the Old Testament. The scriptures you read are in reference to Jewish customs of instruments being used in temple worship. Nowhere do we find in the NT instruction on instruments in worship. We do however find reference to SINGING and only singing in the NT. “speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; and being subject to one another in the fear of Christ.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭ “But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭25‬ Here’s two quick references in the New Testament of singing, there however is ZERO mention of instruments anywhere therein. You claimed in this video that people use their personal opinions, not Biblical reasons for claiming “Christian rap is worldly” and that’s just not the case brother. With all love and kindness I would just ask you to study this more with an open heart, and ask yourself why no Christian churches used instruments until 845 AD. is one of the first recorded instances of instruments in worship. Not my place to try to correct you right or wrong, but just consider studying more on this topic before making video dedicated to it, without really addressing the religion we believe in today. People like my parents and people I come across tat say they christians say it is or worse. But some of them be the same ones listening to the actual worldly secular UnGodly musicor things in general let alone do nothing to serve God with their lives and talents or anything unless its religiously or in ritual NOT because its about God and actually Glorifying and Honoring him and serving him through the relationship they supposed to have ith him. Where is the real focus of obeying Gods word and not come up with stuff on our own understanding? I guess everyone cant be on one accord and in unity and understanding. Its like pharisee energy with all the rules and by that I mean we act as if God dont have the power to use ANYTHING he wants and make it righteous. I thought there is nothing impossible for God, so why cant he use rap for his glory and will if He wants? If God can change any evil sinful unholy unrighteous person trough christ saving power and grace, you telling me he is not able enough to do that with any form of music? If its strictly glorifying, worshipping and honoring him alone and drawing people to him and thats still a problem then why wouldnt that be the case for any other type and form of music or genre or even deeper than that we can use that sentimnt on anything else not just music. Jesus was a carpenter/craftsman but what did he build? If it is a relationship with sinners and God then yeah it's probably worldly. Where in Scripture does Jesus personally profit from his handywork/craftsmanship? Go back 2000 years and look at what was in the world.
