Two things that I found odd about the update: 1. In the old UI, you could tell how much time was left until you could collect your daily. But now in the new UI, I can't find that timer anywhere at all. Unless I somehow missed it within all of the new UI or on a leaderboard somewhere in the lobby, you literally have to remember how much time is left manually and when to log into the game to collect your daily reward. 2. I find it odd that the only gamemode this event has that is about, related to, and themed around Christmas, gives the least amount of candy canes for the battlepas- I mean, seasonal reward system. Playing a regular game or hardcore, or even a special mode like Pizza party or Badlands, was easier to collect candy canes from enemies than in the Violent Night gamemode. Every time that I completed a Violent Night game, I got around 10-25 candy canes (which took like 25 to 40 minutes at most). Every time I completed a 7-9 minute game of hardcore to grind gems, I got around 20-40 candy canes each game.

@@aminesira4699 Every other event with a battlepass was the BEST source of the currency, meaning you could simply grind 1 mode to do all of your event stuff. They tried something new here, but if this was what Duck Hunt and the Philips x TDS features (i.e. adding logic to make razors drop from enemies with facial hair) led up to, it is a considerable downgrade. One last thing...the event battlepass has ended, but the event hasn't ended. Wth bruh

It's really easy to get tired of 360 events. We only had 2, but that is enough. This kind of event doesn't let you innovate with the mechanics or change the map layout. The usual kind of map can vary in the shapre of the lan or it's with (like in the Frost invation 2021 event) which makes it more interesting and strategic.

I dislike events after Frost Invasion, including Frost Invasion as well. Despite all of them were cool and unique - what I like, to beat all of them at least 2 people needed accel. Except Duck Hunt 2022, when they made event easy, so 25+ lvls could beat it. But now Engi was added and buffed, and people overuse it, like accel, meanwhile some people beat current event with Militant, Mini + support.

I like 360 events, they're really unique but the problem with this one is it doesn't add anything to make it unique from duck hunt. they could have at least tried to make it more unique, such as maybe giving more room for towers to be placed or maybe even a position swap, where the enemies come out from the middle and go to the end of the map (kinda like the base game but now its a giant circle)

I think they should have made the map more like the trailer and more vivid than a white wasteland. As per the rng of enemies bunching up it doesn’t feel fair. One round you shred all of the early waves, the next round you die on wave 7 due to bad clusters and not enough base health to tank the big snowman.

My main gripe with the event is that there's no counter to the direct base damage. With Umbra, you could stun her. It'd be cool if cliff towers could shoot them and destroy them. Santsbot can instantly kill you with 3 rockets, as it has NO cool down. Also,snow golems. They deal early damage as they punish you for killing them.

For snow golems, I just hope they have low HP when they're near the base, while it being enough for the towers not to kill it It's so that it won't spawn snowmen that have a much higher HP than the dying snow golem

Adding onto the no candy canes when you play the event. It also makes it so that when you beat the event and get elf camp, there is literally no reason to play it again unless you wanna help people with it. With some of the other events (like eclipse, winter 2020, and duck hunt) sure you still get some of the event currency when you play a good ol game of it, but you get even more of it if you actually play the event giving an incentive to actually play the event even if you already beat it. I don't wanna be that guy but man it feels like tds had a pretty huge downfall ever since the hardcore update.

I beat it on my 2nd try, but then i had to help my friends, and that rocket was like the only move mecharocketspam used. Like nothing else, medic had no purpose on the last wave. We'd been playing the event for the whole time trying to beat it and we beat it like 3 hours before the skin season pass ended

I really liked the 4 lane concept which was used first in frost event, then solar eclipse and then died. I hope they do this for 360 as well, 2 events and let it simmer in the back for a while so when it comes back, we get to experience what it was like the first time, and same for the four lanes. Hopefully next event is either single path or the four paths, and then after a few of those, we get back to 360 so new players can see what it's like. This is just my thought.

I would’ve loved to see a “sequel” to the frost invasion. Different map, but sorta going off the concept of the portal malfunctioning and stuff. The final boss would be something along the lines of (insert cool god sounding name,) King of (insert some cool winter sounding dimension,)As well as voice acting from the boss talking about how the frost spirit was just a test and how he underestimated you, but now he’s gonna kill you himself or some shit. Cliche? Sure. Cool? Absolutely

I understand they need lower level ppl to be able to beat the event, but really theres just no strategy in this. I think something like the forst invasion was a great example of an event, cool 4 paths, new enimies, 20 decently paced waves, and a boss you could kill with lower level towers but was really intense and fun. There wasnt too much strategy like halloween 2020 either so you could do it with randoms it would just take a few tries.

Another terrible thing is the tower targeting. Sometimes I have minis or engis just firing at enemies that are decently far away, meanwhile we are losing like 500 hp because of tough cookies or something that are in the middle

The gui the event the skins , yes complains can be expected but honesly I love the update Hey ik some of u are gonna hate me but still I think the reason why the event isnt special nor creative is because that they did not wanted to take +4 MONTHS on an update that most of its content waers off after a month cuz in the past a lot of ppl complained about the fact that it takes forever to wait for an update ( its like telling ur cousins to buy plane tickets to visit u very soon with the raise that they got from their job witch is a dollar more ) so yeah in my opinion im greatful that the game got updated but the fact that the skins are for the same towers again and the event map looking like a minecraft abondoned village and garbage event rewards ( excluding elf camp ) and rng is the big downside of this event 4reals this is why I like big updates that takes a long time rather then fast short updates lmao

I think the rng is where the enemies spawn, and which abilities the bosses will use. The final boss could hit you with a rocket launcher 5 times in a row, as TrustlyDragon's xmas video shows.

I Have sooo many things to say, i am not lying: 1. Rewards are shit (as he talked about) 2. Bro, the fact that they used duck hunt gamemode again, pisses me off, like they used it because it was a mechanical and fast enemy, now mecha clause, and even the enemies, don't match to the defend the center gamemode, it is just frustrating (tradicional gamemode is way better, like it was cool having a new gamemode one time, but like 2 in a row, freak this) 3. Elf Camp could be buffed, as a user of it, it isn't enough for what i passed through 4. The event is too hard, and rng based 5. Battle Pass just says “duck hunt” like wtf 6. The New UI is pure crap, like it is harder than beating Frost Invasion scout only 7. The lobby, is… kinda repetitive, like we have that theme of lobby since September 8. CONCEPT: The Base/Exit could be the castle,while the Entrance could be the Village. I don't know why they made that map, it should be the map that the trailer showed. 2: The fact that the event has no Hiddens is kinda sad, HIDDEN CONCEPT: Robber Elf, has a bag in his back, with a Robber mask, black appeareance, Health: 20 3: The tower changes, the Accelerator rebalance was the most unfair, i think they could just buff accel and engi, ACCEL BUFF AND ENGI BUFF CONCEPT: Accelerator: Level 1: 10 damage Level 2: Longer Burst 7.8 sec Level 3: 15 Damage (Small Nerf) Level 4: 0.2 Firerate: 0.1 Range: 20 Level 5: 0.05 Firerate (Good Buff) 35 Damage, Longer Burst: 11.8 (Small Nerf) Fast Charge and 21 Range Enginner Buff Level 1: 6 Damage , 100 Upgrade Cost (Good buff) Level 2: 15 Damage, Flight Detection and Lead Breaking (niceeeee) Level 3: 1.0 Firerate, (only Firerate changes) Level 4: 35 Damage, (Only damage changes) Level 5: 40 Damage (only damage changes) Level 6: 55 damage, bigger explosion + 4 max units Overall: both towers could be good,no one would be better, both could be good. Feel free to disagree. Now, with these buffs, they could buff the golden mini too, G mini buffs: 10 damage 0.05 firerate hidden detection at level 1 0.1 firerate at level 2 Elf camp buff? @@rowenamirasol3792 but engi on my buff concept is doing 55 damage on the same firerate that is on level 6 and accel got 0.05 firerate but engi on my calculations on my buff concept would be 494.8 DPS and accel 370-395.6 DPS which is very good

I think we can all agree that this event is one of the worst. It's a 360 map, with the stupid modifier called Mutation who everyone hates. The event is very RNG based due to the bosses able to damage your base which is STUPID. Please Paradoxum Games, stop adding Mutation to everything you add and stop the 360 maps for the future events. If you still decide to do it, the game is gonna die. I'm sorry but its true. The community would be furious if you add another event with 360 and Mutation.
