He’s averaging 1.5 ppg in the whl and the kid doesn’t turn 16 until late December . There’s a long way to go, but that’s a helluva start. Can’t wait to see what he looks like at 18.

Probably not quite but very promising whl start too as someone who's only eligible in 2026. Bedard and fantilli -23, celebrini and eiserman -24, misa and hagens -25 and mckenna -26, exciting times for hockey fan

He has such smooth edgework. And seems speedy at age 15, so he'll improve both by 2026.

Based off his performance this year, he’s behind where bedard was at his age. Still gonna be the first pick in 2026, but he’s got to improve quite a bit to be put at bedard’s level. Bedard was already almost a 2 ppg player at his age, McKenna is less than a 1.5 ppg player. At every point in time during his WHL career, Bedard had a higher ppg average than McKenna does rn. That’s starting day 1 for each. McKenna will be great but he’s not Bedard, at least not yet.
