I grabbed it for a decent price because it may not be here for long and I love the opening. I just wish it stayed around for the duration of the story instead of morphing into Savauge.

Ive all of em ...But the very first batches were so so good and then it got Birch" heavier and they somehow altered the batches and bumped up the $ the absolute is a good one But the Original was to me a fantastic scent

Right! Because there's so many clones of Aventus, and houses that have similar feels, that, you really won't NEED the Absolu version.

I never made that connection before hacivat and absolu I guess cause everybody says it smells like a mix of adventus and sauvage elixir (which it does immho)... with that being said both are very good.... but I feel like the absolu gets more positive attention than hacivat for me

No. Not really similar, honestly. Absolu is Aventus with a lot of Ambroxan added. If you like Aventus I’d be shocked if you don’t like Absolu. Hacivat is wayyyyy more green and oak moss heavy
