Went today, I’d recommend it. You can rent full suspension bikes and full face helmets. (You can also take lesson if you are new to the sport.)

Great video of familiar trails though taken at a far slower rate on my hardtail. Have not tried the skills section. Excellent riding gentlemen. Something to strive for in my advanced middle age.

Sick video man, if you wanna spice it up a bit at powder ridge, idk if you have one, but i usually ride my hardtail there, makes for some suuuuuper fun days there. Nice riding! Havent been yet this season but it looks like they added some cool stuff and made it a lot better. Hoping to go soon.
@wheeliesforyourfeelies28604 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! Honestly dude a hardtail would be perfect at these trails. Unfortunately I don't have one right now. Hope you have a great ride there!

Nice video and great riding! I’m on Long Island and am definitely thinking of making the trip up to Powder Ridge. Do you know if they rent out full face helmets there? And have you heard good or bad things about there rental bikes?
@wheeliesforyourfeelies28604 жыл бұрын
They do rent out full face helmets, although I'm not sure about how their rental bikes are. They look pretty decent (off -brand company) and if there is a problem the mechanics are happy to fix it. Have a great time!

@rajkandhari27454 жыл бұрын
Yes but you need to take all the barriers the park faces into consideration: CT's topography, how new the park is, etc.. For the amount of barriers this park has, they are doing a pretty solid job for now and the park definitely shows potential. Also, this is an oasis when considering the closest dh park is over 3 hours away from many people in CT.
@owenf11424 жыл бұрын
Raj Kandhari Idc bout run lengths and where it is rly. The “flow” trails r just covers in loose rock that almost kill u every ten seconds and there jumps r just not built well. The medium jump line is so poorly built. One just is hard to clear and then the next u way overshoot and the last is way to hard to clear for most riders. The large line when I rode it was very hard to get speed for. The step up on it was also very hard to clear and I saw only a couple rides myself included b Able to clear it. They just need to do maitnence on their trails and they’d b fine but they don’t seem to care enough to fix what isn’t right. Sure it’s cheap and close but I’d rather drive and extra hour for some proper trails
@rajkandhari27454 жыл бұрын
owen f ngl kinda agree with u on those points, they are really hard to clear, although I don’t mind the flow trails that much. Again I just think it’s a fun spot for locals but I can’t afford to drive over an hour more to ride thunder every week
@owenf11424 жыл бұрын
Raj Kandhari yea. It serves its purpose once or twice a year for a chill day. The dh race there will b interesting.
